When do you think things will calm down? (Prices and market)

Hey Guys, just wanted to create a little discussion post about when people think the market will calm down, or if it ever will!

In the past we have seen quite a number of spikes with pokemon as a whole such as the 20th anniversary, evolutions, covid ect.

I can imagine everyone here has a really good idea of these cycles and loops, I was wondering when you guys think the market might calm down again, or if you think it ever actually will? do you think the hobby has been changed by giant corporations getting involved? Will there be a turning point where all this craziness stops being the “cool thing to do”?

The market will calm down the week after buying an expensive card and the week you send everything in the mail to auction off

True, but when do you presume this may be, do you think there will be a catalyst that stops a lot of the hype we have seen over the past few years?
