My favorite recent pickup! Will look fabulous beside my 2011 Full Art Zekrom :star_struck:

P.S.: I definitely need to polish the slab with all those microscratches…

Picked up a binder I’d wanted for my Flygon collection. Surprisingly good condition for a 2003 ring binder. I loveee fat Flygon and Salamence.

Also picked up this cute misdo collab cup with Trapinch on it, as well as this ANA Ohana cup!

Won this Jungle Vileplume on eBay [$20 AUD]. Seller was local so I saved the $8 postage fee by picking it up on my way home from work.

Also came with the Oddish and Gloom! I love that Keiji Kinebuchi was responsible for the whole evo line.

Picked this up, boarder appears peachy or “albino” but none of the card otherwise affected. Still pop 54 and very very clean so happy either way. A few guys said maybe ink error since border done separate and rest of card not faded. Any insight?

I almost thought that was a non Holo! Seems like a very clear Holo layer! Cool pick up

Any chance you can get some close up pictures of the ink and border?

She seems like a keeper!
Seriously tho, congratulations!

Here ya go, tried corner/side top bottom shot but this is consistent around entire card (color) or lack there of, no variances. Also I am left scratching head because the red in the label is not faded at all and remains strong red and no way anyone did once graded since perfect around whole card and nor would anyone since a 10. Just thinking out loud, sorry my phone pics suck and blur the edge is much more defined in person/magnified and blue ink dots that trail off sharp.

Seems too perfect to be an intentional stencil, so it is some kind of error. Here is my Squirtle for comps.

Appreciate the pics to compare, confirms the blue ridges do extend the same way along the edge making a repeating pattern. Did WOTC fail to lay the boarder or a “ink error” of sorts, who knows for sure. To me its just cool either way because of what it is. I did ask a guy who owns the sets of trainer deck A and some B and was told he has owned 1-2 like this as well and he believes do to other factors like label unaffected, art work colors strong and unaffected and how perfect the edges are, it is an error. Now opinions are like…. well you know, everyone has one lol
Again TY again for taking the time to help.

Interesting…

The Printing Error: A true “albino” or “peach” border is usually caused by insufficient ink on the specific roller responsible for the border’s solid yellow layer. Because this roller specifically targets the border, other yellow elements on the card—like the lightning energy symbol or the yellow in the artwork—remain perfectly vibrant and unaffected.”
