Love this artwork. I also do like Moltres a lot. It´s interesting that these are the only cards (vintage) with 5 energy cost, at least for the Fire-type.

So I recently met one of Arita’s coordinators and he had a bunch of great nostalgia and non-PkMn items. Might grab some more, but this time I just got some non-PkMn books.
I also finally nabbed this Arita binder from the UK. Price seemed pretty good, and it’s been in my cart for a while. And an MtG Seb McKinnon playmat.
It’s been hard to buy singles and slabsa for my collection… so expensive. Price is what I would pay, but value, I would not get.

This is pretty interesting. I stumbled upon this in my iPhone notes. This is a Mercari haul from September 2024. I wrote this up back then but never posted it. I try not to mention money in this thread, but just to give you some perspective of the market back then, I believe the haul ran me about $7500 total. Looking back, I think a good amount of the ungraded cards are PSA 10 candidates. Mint ungraded supply on Mercari was really good back then, probably in part due to PSA not being as big in Japan in 2024 as it is today. Here is what was in my notes, typos and everything. Enjoy the little time capsule:
Huge Mercari-Buyee haul. Let’s start off with these Pokemon Emerald Battle e+ map pieces. I’ve been on the lookout for these and buying them on sight over the past few months. I’m a big Hoenn fan, so these really excite me.
Lots of minty holos. Nice mixture of ADV and PCG, and even some DPP. Got a DP Exhange Eevee, as well as a beautiful Kingdra from Wind From The Sea. Better artwork than the Crystal imo. Easily one of my favourite cards.
A few not-so-minty holos, but still OK condition and priced accordingly. Magma vs. Aqua is a really nostalgic set to me.
Bought a Premium File lot in NM-MT condition with a few set cards included. Amazing value.
Here’s a lot of NM Vending Series cards. These were way ahead of their time, artwork-wise. I love how there are references to the games in many of the illustrations.
Some moderns slabs and singles. I was surprised that raw SARs are so cheap, but I’m not complaining 
Some Delta Species cards including holos by some of the GOATs, namely Fukuda, Arita and Saito.
Got a few ”banned” Grimers and a couple of Brock’s Omastar. Love the early 3D art.
A few holos from one of my favourite sets, Pokémon WEB. Found a really cheap PSA 9 Dark Venusaur in addition to the 10. Got a raw Dark Charizard that’s a good PSA 10 candidate imo. That wasn’t the idea behind buying it, but upon seeing it in person and finding no visible flaws, I was a bit surprised. I spent less than a PSA 9 goes for, so I was expecting at least some edge wear, but it’s immaculate. Very happy with this purchase.
To complement my WEB cards, I got this empty WEB pack. It even includes the cut off crimp.
Here are some magazine promos. It’s interesting to compare the difference in hue between this and the WEB reprint. I love the Imakuni?s Exploud ex, gotta get the Whishmur and Loudred too. I always found it curious that the Shining Mew has a Darkness, and to Light set symbol, yet it features the holo pattern of the shinings from Awakening Legends.
More Delta Species, mostly Holon Research Tower, which is extremely rare in unlimited form. Got the Beautiful Fukuda Blastoise in both 1ED and UED, because why not?
Second game I’ve purchased on Mercari, Detective Pikachu Returns.
An unconventional bird trio. Carddass Prism is such an underrated set. Unique and expressive Ken Sugimori artwork, awesome value in PSA 8.
The Moltres is easily one of Saitos best artworks in Mysterious Mountains. I’ve been looking for this card for a while, but it had to be unlimited. Still on the lookout for an UED Articuno.
Alto Mare’s Latios. Stunning artwork by Arita. Gotta get the Latias as well.
Another Arita Masterpiece. Can’t decide if this or Fukuda’s from Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean is my favourite Feraligatr.
Chikorita from McDonald’s Minimum. Love this card. I remember first seeing it in that video where MaxMoeFoe opens a bunch of the packs. That really sold me on the set.
Some promos. The Charizard is gorgeous to look at, happy to finally have one in my collection. The Raikou is incredibly rare, and get me another step closer to a Raikou master set, should I commit to the idea of a species collection.

ADV starter deck display and a mint ADV Expansion pack Booster Box. Very difficult to find these today.
A ton of old Yu-Gi-Oh bulk with lots of holos, some minty, many mp. Love looking at these on occasion. The early JP cards are actually more nostalgic to me than the EN cards since they look more close to their manga counterpart.

Nonetheless, I’m glad you were able to get that huge Emerald Battle-e map lot, and sold me the duplicated Seviper cameo I was missing at the time. Thanks again!

Got 14 packs in a Fossil box break, here are the pulls. Non-holos on the left. Seller was nice enough to let me keep the box too!
The Kabutops holo is a curious case. I’ve never seen this before. It seems that something is stuck inside the holofoil, creating a sort of bubble. The back is flat too, so it’s not a dent. The back has a lot of edge wear too, but I think I’ve seen similar on other pack fresh WOTC cards.

Latest eBay purchase for my Pokémon Go collection.
I never paid attention to the fact Meltan was on Willow’s shoulder until I had the card in hand.
Really well packaged and quick delivery from the seller too.
I’m getting pretty close to completing the base set if that’s the correct terminology? Not reverse holos or promo’s etc.
