Got myself my first graded card as a late gift for my Birthday!
Saw it on ebay for a decent price and knew I had to get it considering my love for Gen 5.

My son (7) is so jealous of the Meowscarada (Glitter/snowflake). We’ve been trying to source the SVI Meowscarada 015/198, Skeledirge 038/198, and Quaquaval 054/198 glitter/snowflake holos. They were only released in the European version of the 2023 Collector’s chest and are super hard to come by here in the US. If anyone knows where he can buy or trade for them, please let me know!

These are the things that I absolutely love in this hobby, just really niche stuff. This card looks amazing with the ball placement. I can already imagine you looking at the card straight on in your screen and doing some math trying to figure out based on whatever is visible if the ball will land in Giovanni’s hand

@A.P.Speeze An amazing haul! I love seeing the different postcards out there. I especially like the Entei/Raikou/Suicune one in that postcard folder thing and the Kanazawa box ones. Thanks for sharing!
@nidokingdom The holo snack stickers look especially great, and the Meiji pizza stickers are really cool too. There are so many awesome non-TCG sets out there. Your dedication to collecting a ton of different ones is certainly commendable! I also spy Hoppip/Jumpluff on the Meiji dice—have to add it to my mental list of things to possibly look out for!

Not sure if it counts in this thread since they are actually returned from grading and I bought them raw few years back:
I was really happy when I saw the grades, they are a sequential cert PSA 9 Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos secret rares from ex fire red & leaf green!
By the way, do we have a thread to post our best PSA returns?

A bit early for my yearly purchase post but super excited to share this. Finally managed to find a great deal and pulled the trigger on the L-P Shiny Pokemon Giveaway Campaign set of Entei, Suicune and Raikou. I really was on the fence with these cards due to the price and would never find them together as a set. Since it is a set of 1000 each, most of the cards are graded so it is also hard to find raw copies. Finally found cards within my budget and also they look really clean in front. The back has some minor flaws and scratches but these are absolutely gorgeous in my binder. With these 3 cards, I also finally managed to finish all of the lottery promos in the L-P promo set.
I would really like to give a huge shoutout and thank @pokecollectoramy. Almost 2 years ago now, Amy and myself started talking about these cards, specifically the Suicune since I believe it is their favourite Suicune artwork. At that point I also expressed my desire to own these cards someday but were out of budget for me. But ever since then, Ramy always managed to find and send me links about these cards at auctions or when they were at a great deal. Even if I was priced out, this selfless gesture of always keeping an eye out for my collection wants really motivated me to keep searching for these cards. Everytime Abby would send me links, I would always go on a search and see if I can really afford these cards. Fast forward to this year where I did manage to find something good, in my budget and a seller who was kind enough to negotiate a small discount. I feel this drive to get these cards would not have been without their help. Thank you truly.
Lastly, I have made a lot of new friends on E4 like Emily who are constantly looking out for my wants. I truly thank you all. I wish to also do the same no matter how small or big that card might be. It really is a great feeling to help someone else get to their goals or acquire some cards.

Yay today was a very exciting mail day (for me 
)
Finally found a seller who had a bunch of German houndoom and snagged what I could at the time! (Missed out on a few more expensive ones I was hoping would still be there my next paycheck but hopefully I can find them elsewhere!)
Slowly yet surely filling out my Hundemons 
And then I got a pretty good deal on a Best of XY Xerneas, and found the chinese Golurk for super cheap so figured why not. It came with those really cute stickers too!
Hoping one day soon to actually have a full houndoom page done

Currently my collecting journey feels similar to playing GTA: San Andreas when I was younger. Instead of focusing on my main mission (my VS Binder) I am currently focusing on my side collection goals (mainly my Gen 3 collection). Still, really love collecting those cards right now, as even NM copies can be found for a couple of Euros. Some recent mail:
