Interesting, could someone explain what’s going on with the holo? My understanding is if there’s a print line that’s usually an indicator of the end of the pattern for the holo sheet, but I see 3 here at different widths. Also it graded a 10 despite that? Nonetheless, it’s really beautiful!

After a long long search, I’ve finally managed to obtain the rarest / scarcest card I need for the Houndoom master set by an absolute long shot.
The unlimited Legend series cards are the bane of the species collectors existence, so much so that theres an entire thread dedicated to it. The mirrors are just another level of scarcity. 1st Edition mirror are hard to find. Unlimited is harder. Unlimited Mirror are just obnoxious.
Due to the massive help of @banks I am finally able to get my hands on an Unlimited Mirror Houndoom. He’s going to be heading off to PSA where he’ll be the first in the pop report in any grade!
I can’t express my thanks enough to Banks, who not only got to this listing 5 minutes before I did and secured it for me, but he actually sent me the card FOR FREE despite me insisting on paying at minimum the cards list price & shipping. Being generous enough to send someone a card for free when they’re begging you to take like $100 for it is just beyond amazing and I am very thankful.
Not only is this the grail of my collection, but this added human element to the ‘purchase’ makes it so special to me. This is peak pokemon collecting to me.

Friendly reminder to species collectors looking to master Japanese: the unlimited mirror L1 L2 L3 cards need to go to the top of your priority list. These cards may only come up once every few years.

People absolutely underestimate their scarcity ( I know I did ) probably due to them being set cards maybe? But they’re just ridiculous. Wasn’t someone looking for a mirror unlimited electrode prime for like 7 years?

Amazing, congratulations to you for finally getting the card and to @banks for being such a nice human being! On top of everything you already said about the difficulty, Darkness type Pokémon are of course also the most annoying to find in unlimited, since the black first edition symbol can be pretty hard to spot on a black background.
