Never knew this particular card existed until a few days ago when I bought it a quick ebay search and this was so reasonable I just clicked BIN.
I have really been wanting the SM1+ Sylveon GX HR, but I think this will replace that for me at 1/20th the price!

Dang, any idea why this card carries such a hefty premium? I thought the HRs were unpopular

My interpretation is SM1+ just had a lower print run relative to the other SM sets - it was in 2017 after all.
Agreed I thought the same, but the textures are what drew me into that set specifically. The high price for this card may be a combination of species/eevee demand and scarcity - not the easiest to find.
Here is the Sylveon texture, a heart pattern. (Seller declined my $900 offer)

Sorry, I see how that looks now. We both have bought cards that went way up. It’s sad to see old posts of Espeon and Umbreon gold stars and Eevee Fan Club for just a few hundred dollars
