I found this at CAC here in Dallas/Fort Worth this past weekend for $10
Pokémon Gold and Silver Official Game Notebook 1999. I had never seen it before, no idea what I will do with it, but it was too cheap not to scoop.

The illustration at the end is great. I just picked up a random spinoff Pokemon game guide because of some cool illustrations too (no pictures though, as it’s sitting at the Buyee warehouse right now).

Bored at work and had a good googling session on this, absolutely nothing other than 2 eBay listings which state it’s from an “Asia exclusive” prerelease event. The card is obviously all in English; I would guess it’s Malaysian… obviously Malaysia isn’t the only country in Asia that is predominantly English-speaking, but considering their Pokemon cards are printed in English, there could be a high chance.

Ahh I see… I just assumed it was a 22/23 promo release cos of the card itself, so all my googling was based on that. Oops. Even went on the Asia Pokemon tournaments website and filtered for Poke Gym events between 2022 and 2024 but it doesn’t turn out any results, so this might help explain why

So the leafeon caught my eye a couple weeks ago. Chose to pass. Well, here we are now, I had to go back for it. Idk if you can see but the holo bleed on there is gorgeous and the swirl 
. The eevee speaks for itself 
. A couple more stuffs arrived in the mail, grumpig and liepard. I have a bibarel coming too but its from canada so it will be a little while. Oh yeah as for the mew. Got a email from the seller and a refund, inventory issues, it is what it is. Grabbed a raichu and deino instead, and ill take it as a sign to grab a nicer copy when the time is right.
