Not the craziest of purchases but really cool. So my son has been showing interest in singles and i shared the reshiram but this was his other request. He is 8, and looking for singles on his own. His own research, his own influence, and holy crap im proud. Hes got a good eye.

On a recent trip to France and Germany I picked up a single French booster pack just to bring home something Pokémon. Not a big hit by any means but I’ll take it!
Kinda weird that the set “symbols” stick to English. TWM doesn’t line up with “Mascarade Crépusculaire”.

Some shopping this morning. Picked up this beautiful grumpig from emerald and i grabbed my last two 10s for brilliant stars so that set is finished, grabbed those 2 for about 35 US each. Will post everything in my collection thread on arrival.

Oh yeah also grabbed a "moderately played"copy of this mew for my first page. The prerelease binders first page is all 1st place stuff so ill show that when its finished. Thought it would be a cool way to start the binder thats based on events. Anyway, got about 4 more to grab for that, probably going to do greninja next, and then whatever randoms i like.

Pulled my Korean Rayquaza in Busan Korea from 1 box from a flea market after not being able to pull this card in the US despite burning through 10s of Blue Sky Stream Boxes.

I had been eyeing this promo in general intermittently for some time, while also separately being curious about the ARS Japanese grading company slabs. Thus, when I came across a copy graded by ARS (the only one, apparently) while also for a decent price, I surmised that it was meant to be.

My favorite Seviper TCG artwork, signed by the (English) voice actor of Seviper, Bill Rogers. 
I’ve tried contacting Bill Rogers (who is more commonly known as the voice actor for Brock) a few times in the past, but he never responded to my messages. But when I randomly came across this already autographed copy of my favorite Seviper artwork, I immediately contacted the owner, whom was willing to sell it to me (for his own purchase price + shipping), which I appreciated a lot. So it’s currently incoming.

Decided to take another gamble at some PLAY promo’s (seller’s image):
Usually I wouldn’t buy something with such an obstructed view, fearing the typical hidden from view damage. But looking through some of the sellers other items, and their descriptions of condition seemed to match. Here’s what I received: These cards look great, doubt I'll ever grow tired of these promos!
