Good question. It was the first guide to give full lists of cards and details. It was also an invaluable tool for a time before the internet. I mean, when it was written, most people still heard what sounded like Electabuzz everytime they connected, so I think it gets the bible name from being Alpha and Omega of all JP TCG info for several years.
