Wasn´t sure if this fits best under ´General´ or ´Market´, but, what I´m curious about is what you are following currently, hoping to buy.
This can be for investment purposes, but also for collecting. Investing in Pokémon sometimes has a negtive name, but I think I speak for a lot (if not most) of ´investors´ when I say that investing in Pokémon is done best when you have love for it.
So, either way, for me it is the Shiny Full Art Rayquaza from Ancient Origins. I think Ancient Origins as a whole (sealed) is still undervalued, even at it´s current price. The same goes for this particular Rayquaza. I also have a lot of nostalgia for the card since X & Y is when I got back into it.
I’m hoping my next purchases will be the final cards I need to grade for my 25th anniversary set. I still need a few cards, so I’m probably going to try and get these and slip them into my next submission:

Just 4 cards to go, then I’ll have a full set of 25 all graded by myself
They’re so easy to get in 10s that I’m just doing that, yeah. I do a bit of pregrading, but nothing crazy, and I don’t think I’ve actually had any come back as 9s yet lmao
I really think Celebrations is the best anniversary set to date. A lot better than Generations. It will be intersting to see how it does in the future.
Im going to get a few cards to fill in my binder. Going in order they will all be staff variants of prerelease cards, Gabite, Mothim, and Piloswine. Ive rearranged everything and now its back to filling rows

1 of these if I can, being patient with it. The Celebi comes up fairly often, but the Charizard is getting a bit tougher to find at a good price and I missed out on a few opportunities this year. These are 2 of the biggest ones left for my WOTC collection, unless I decide to venture more into the E-Reader sets:
I’m really starting to crack down on a lot of the non-English/Japanese bulk I’m in need of for my Piplup collection.
My current hunts so far have been completing in rows I’m only missing a card or two for so I can cross the whole line of language variants out one at a time. This makes it so much easier to hunt for the cards I’m still in need of.
Spanish and Portuguese have been the most difficult for me to find, since a lot of people will list the high-value hits but not any of the bulk since it’s not worth much. I’m getting a few Spanish cards in soon I was able to snag, but I hope to complete all SM/SWSH bulk soon (if I can find any of it).
In other card news, I’m trying to pick up Thai and Indonesian promos before they go up too much (made that mistake once, never again, haha).
I’m in no rush on any of these and really enjoying being involved in the hobby without feeling the need to buy cards every day/week. Binders continued to be filled as I wait and my first grading submission being sent today.

For some reason, the Japanese and 1st ed comes up way more than the unlimited.
I probably will be getting a box of Supercharged Breaker, Raging Surf, Triplet Beat, and probably either Battle Region, Dark Phantasma, or Incandescent Arcana.
Studded snow tires are also in my budget as well along with a JP copy of Emerald.
Not buying anything else until I buy this
