What’s your most recent non-Pokemon purchase?

One of my favorite decks I’ve played in Yugioh is the Purrely archetype. Its playstyle does a good job of tying into the cards theme. Basically you have your small cat

You then use a card to make a memory with your kitty

And that memory allows them to evolve into a bigger kitty

I am very obsessed with every single purrely :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I don’t know much about the game, but I do love the fact that Yummys and Purrelys are playable. Makes me want to make the worlds cutest deck to battle with

@crindy here is an aquatic water guy you may enjoy. His name is Sensor Duckbill

Definetely some salamanders, although Im unsure of the cute ones. Axolotls are a mystery for me, and there are alot of water friends, but most of them are like elementals and such for me. There are tons of styles for everyone though!

Took me around 6 months to find the Dark Magician Girl (Metallic Tazo) for my Dark Magician Girl collection … Despite it’s kinda played, I’m not complaining about that … These tazos are uncommon to find locally.

For all those who don’t know what a Tazo is, is basically a Mini flat disc (usually with a design). You have to build a tower made of tazos. Each player have a Tazo which is used to smash the tower. In each turn, players have to throw the Tazo at the tower. Those that end up face down are basically points.

These were extremely popular products during 90s/early 2000s in Latin America. Are most known for being distributed as an inserts of Lays and similar fries. Pokémon ones were extremely popular.
Regarding Yu-Gi-Oh there were 2 types of Tazos: Tazos (Taps) and Metallic (Metal Taps). Dark Magician Girl was available in both variants (I’m missing the regular tazo). Not every character was available as Metallic. For example Time Wizard wasn’t available as Metallic (I have the regular one)

This Dark Magician Girl Metallic Tazo is from Series 3 and her number is 97

It’s a Tindeq, a dynamometer that measure the force when you pull on it. For finger training (climbing). I’m waiting for the first rock climbing themed pokemon with eagerness

This is what I could find from looking through cards in Master Duel. There are more cute penguins and dolphins but I didn’t want to fill this up with just those.

I did discover there is an axolotl card, even though it’s name is derived from salamander. The jury is out on whether or not it’s cute

The angle makes them look connected if you dont know what you are looking at and i was really confused why that would be the case :joy:

Yeah I can see that being the case. Tried to get these two closer together to compare size. Maybe next time they’re on a shoot I can take a better photo

It’s been many years since I bought a lego set for myself. Now that I think about it, I actually don’t think I ever did. So this is the first time! Always wanted this one since my trip to Japan.

Lego also made a new set around the new Project Hail Mary movie (based on my favourite book ever) which I went to see in the cinema on the weekend. I was standing in the lego store for like 30 minutes deciding between the two sets but went for the Japanese wall art in the end. And had a lots of fun building it!

Speaking of lego, I also gifted this tuxedo cat to my mom on Christmas, thought I would share here as well. Meet Amy = )

S-Chinese & Korean cards have arrived recently.
Around 9 cards have been added to the Dark Magician Girl collection :top_hat: :magic_wand:

I’ve purchased Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight (RC03-SC020) [Premium Gold Rare] twice by accident. However, when the cards arrived, I’ve noticed that one of them had a misprint that consisted in more black ink than usual. Mostly in the Dark symbol

This is the card with the Misprint:

As mentioned before, I’ve bought another unit of this card.
This card doesn’t have Misprints:

Other interesting cards were included in the package as well …
For example: Premium Gold Rare of the alternate artwork of the Dragon Knight in Simplified Chinese

One of the cards included in the package was DP00-KR005 … This card comes from Duelist Pack: Yugi expansion. Did you know that the Western version of this expansion was much different than the Korean version???

Also, the Quarter Century Secret Rare cards from Quarter Century Art Collection in S-Chinese :

Artwork 1 (left)/Artwork 2 (right) Both are QCSR in S-Chinese

I should make her a collection thread soon …

Naruto Mythos TCG

Brand new, seems interesting

These promos are a pisstake on the Pikachu illustrator, came in the recent manga vol 12 release

I know next to nothing about Naruto (never watched/read it), but isn’t that just the manga’s first volume cover (rather than an “illustrator pisstake”)?
