So, not really a purchase but it is also a purchase. Over the weekend I was in Limestone, TN for the Borzoi Club of America National Specialty but only for the field events. I took a friend’s dog along with me and Sylvia and their dog got 3rd Place and High Scoring Veteran in racing while Sylvia got Fastest Borzoi in the timed dash! We did take formal win pictures that will be published online in the near future but I do not have them, so accept these pictures instead.
Got the box set I was wanting! Now I’m thinking of going after a full Basara set, which is incredibly difficult but I think highly worth it. I read volume 1 and I need to read more and I am not using Viz’s app.
I have doubles of JP volume 9 for wataoshi and I did buy 5 volumes of JP volume 10 (one of them is going to be signed by the mangaka! Ty Rabby for entering signing lotto for me ) I have been scanning in leaflets, art cards, etc in for translators as most of this stuff is not available online or even translated and well, I was buying it anyways so figured why not lol I love the anime box set, mostly just for the little booklet that is included (took it out of the box for the picture) since it has a short story manga inside and a short story written by the series creator as well. It’s adorable. even though there’s not ENG subs for the anime on the disc I’ve watched it and wow, it always surprises me how wonderful the quality of media is off a disc and not being streamed!
Anyways, time to return to my little world of being marginally insane!
I’ve been picking up Japanese gaming magazines off and on as sort of a weird physical data hoarding in a language I can’t read thing. I just like looking at the pretty pictures and thinking about the games featured. The period of this batch is pretty fun too, because it’s a big mix of the 3DS and Vita still being relevant, the Switch starting to do its thing and of course the PS4.
Japanese Magazine covers go crazy, whether for gaming or anime/manga. These are awesome, don’t think I’ll go after many myself just because of space for myself lol (plus I have other things Im chasing after)

Here is an ultra rare Speak Now RIAA Award w/ Peter Max art! Tay hand-signed a thank you note in the middle which was dedicated to each person who made the Speak Now album happen! Only a handful of these exist and its my second one
