Carnivine. What’s the point? Did someone ever say ‘I wish there was another venus fly trap Pokemon’? Has anyone EVER caught one and used it? It felt like it was made to fill a space in the dex, but its just feels like a crappy middle evolution, without the fact that it ever evolves into something good.
Also, its a bug catcher, yet weak to bug type.

Same I hate them so much. There are a few Pokemon that I dislike but nothing comes close to these. Ew.
Tbh, there aren’t really any Pokémon I absolutely hate. There are some I dislike though:
Galarian Slowking and Mega Slowbro. Slowbro and Slowking themselves make sense with Shellder biting them. And I also don’t mind the Galarian Slowbro. But Galarian Slowking is just bad, and wtf is that Mega Slowbro even…
I like Lunatone, but I never liked Solrock, and I probably never will:
Never liked Burmy nor Wormadam. Especially the pink ones… Their ‘trash cloak’ is fitting though…
I like Aipom, but Ambipom not at all… I would like to punch its face, and the ‘hands’ on its tails are more like balloons…
I don’t really dislike the pre-evolved ‘Pans’ forms, but the evolved ‘Simis’ forms are so bad…
The design isn’t bad at all, but Emolga in general and especially its voice were so f-ing annoying in the anime:
Quilladin is my least favorite Pokémon that’s part of a starter evolution line.
Ultra Beasts are pretty bad in general, but these three definitely take the cake for being the worst…
The design of Alcremie itself isn’t too bad (although after the Vanilluxe and Slurpuff evolution lines it’s clear one of the Pokémon designers is either obsessed with sweets, or doesn’t get enough to eat while working… 
). But the Gigantamax version on the other hand is just bad…
And last, and maybe also least… 
The Penguin that had its head stuck in the freezer, yet somehow still has a beak and eyes…

I have always hated Slaking, because I mean look at it
Mewtwo. Its ugly. Its man made. And therefore its not a Pokemon.

Threads like this really show how nostalgia drives interest. Most of my favourite designs are from Gen 5 and 2, just because I played them the most growing up. Gen 3 & 4 other hand…eh. And don’t get me started with Ultra Beasts. It’s just like the Star Wars movies, the Prequels are my favourites, 4-6 are good and the new ones suck. As they always do. 
Anyway, I always despised Gen 3’s Blaziken’s slim, humanoid design - plus it’s called “Lohgock” in German, which comes from “Lohe” + “Gockel” and would roughly translate to “Burncock”. Yeah.
Also I hated Palpitoad and Seismitoad in the games. Just look at the smug smile. Ew.

Pokemon may have been technically inspired by insects, but design inspirations have always been rooted more so in Japanese monsters/mythos. Probably half of gen 1 Pokemon were inspired by some sort of Japanese folklore monster.
Funny you should mention the nostalgia bit. I got the idea for this thread from looking through Pokedex entries of potential Pokemon species to collect in the TCG. So far, I’ve only decided on Golduck and Raichu, strictly from a nostalgia point of view. I just thought these two Pokemon were so friggin’ cool when I was little, and still do. As I was looking through the Dex entries, I came across Conkeldurr. I hated it so much, I thought, “There HAS to be people who hate Conkeldurr and other Pokemon as much as I do.” And here we are haha.
Also, Mr. Mime is a creepy, repulsive, abomination.
Surprised we haven’t seen an Umbrella Pokemon yet for that reason.

1. Audino
The design strikes me as “let’s take a beloved simple design (Chansey) and try to make it cuter with anime-style big eyes”. Absolute trash Chansey wanna-be. Getting a GX and Mega form in the TCG adds salt to the wound as these cards could have gone to Chansey or at least Blissey.
2. Indeedee
Now you have someone looking at Audino and thinking “let’s make this even uglier!”. Once again, this piece of crap got a Shiny V in Shiny Star V that could have been Chansey’s spot.
**General dislike but not personal loathing:
-** Rillaboom, Cinderace, Incineroar – all printed to shit and ugly almost every time. Inteleon was OK but SWSH was the first time I’ve genuinely considered never evolving my chosen starter. Disappointing since the Basics had potential.
Monkey trio – nothing positive to say about them
Zygarde final form – “Maybe if we add enough generic “cool” things like spikes and scales and wings this will look awesome!” no it looks over-designed and busy. Forgettable.

Okay, so here’s my take. A lot of people have really bad reasons for why they dislike certain Pokemon. I understand having a general distaste for a design for personal reasons, but saying gamefreak has run out of ideas or Pokemon beyond x generation are bad, is incredibly stupid. In addition, I’ve noticed people have very inconsistent reasons for hating some Pokemon but liking others.
Also, all of my opinions are the correct ones, so get mad.
