What Pokemon card/collectible would you travel across the world to pick up? Exclude artist signing events. This trip would be necessary to pick up a purchase or to trade in person.

Everything I want/need badly enough that the seller won’t ship to me for whatever reason.
Fragility is less of an issue because there are ways to ensure gentle handling of most things through couriers that are cheaper/less time consuming than a roundtrip ticket to the other end of the planet. Value/insurance could be a reason when the money is ungodly. Sometimes there are specific advantages to carry-on.
Hypothetically though, if the owner of this thing decided that it was no longer a lifer, and offered it for local pickup only, I would be at Gardermoen Airport faster than the most reckless firetruck driver.

I basically never travel anywhere. But I would definitely travel across the globe for something custom painted by Komiya. I would love to get him to commission something.

Basically any item where the value of the purchase is such that I can justify spending whatever amount of money is necessary to travel, and that amount is high enough where I do not wish to risk it travelling through post. Theoretically, if I were to spend 50k on a card and it would cost me 1000 dollars to travel and retrieve it, I would rather do that then send it through post.
Flipside is that I don’t think I will ever be able to justify spending that much on a single purchase. So I am not sure it would ever happen.

I don’t think I like anything enough to travel to purchase it. I’ve met fellow E4-ers before to sell items but generally I’m content yoloing shipping.
