WOTC 1st collector. Considering whether to grade the holos as I have a combo of PSA and binder collections between the various sets

I collect mostly base set holos. My current goals are:
Self graded mint unlimited holo set
Self graded first edition holo set
For those two I limit myself to only in person transactions. I’m also working towards a PSA 10 First holo set.
By far my most beloved cards are Champion DCE, but I also strive to collect more obscure English stuff and trophy cards.
i collect stuff thats within my budget. i really like buying boosters but cant afford wotc boxes so i dont buy them. my main goal atm is to finish my 1st ed rocket binder set and japanese neo sets. halfway there. psa wise just whatever i like the look of that im happy to have on display next to my pc.

One of my favourite things to collect are random little cards which I adore the artwork of.
These are what I enjoy, the art evokes a wonderment in me. I will always appreciate the history behind a 1st Ed. Base Charizard and it’s significance in this franchise but inconsequential, insignificant and overlooked cards like this will always catch my eye.
No grades, no raffles, no flipping and no chase. Just life breathed into little monsters in unique ways.

English energy cards and I have started to collect fisherman casually as a side collection.

I collect Dragonite cards mainly and am working to complete a binder on Unbroken Bonds. I also buy singles with art that is beautiful, like the totodile from a few post before. Even a $0.99 card can make my day!
