If we’re talking about set cards, the TRR Gold Stars and TRR Dark Dragonite Reverse Foil were most important to me.

Interesting that yours are all from Ex Era? Do you have a particular fondness for that era? May I ask why you chose those specific gold stars?
Definitely my thick stamp 1st Ed Base Charizard and the fact it’s a clean PSA 5. Very thankful to have it. Didn’t think I’d ever own one, especially after 2020.
Always feel like it’s going to be the WOTC grail for so many people.

EX Team Rocket Returns is my favorite set from the EX era. The art is incredible and I love how they showcased Gen 1 and Gen 2 Pokemon with a sneak peak at Gen 3 through the 
starters. I have a strong connection to Hoenn, and specifically Pokemon Sapphire. Here’s some Dyl backstory from another post.
Hoenn holds such a special place in my heart. I was obsessed with Pokemon Sapphire when it came out in 2003. The newly added Pokemon, music, locations, legendaries - everything was so cool.
At this time, I had lost my copy of Pokemon Silver, lost my Pokemon card collection, and no longer had a reliable system that would play Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow. So, needless to say, Pokemon Sapphire was one of the only connections that I still had to the hobby throughout the mid-to-late-2000s.
Fast forward to 2014, Nintendo announces the release of Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. At that time, I didn’t own a Nintendo 2DS/3DS (still don’t), so I revisited my original Pokemon Sapphire on the Nintendo DS.
I was flooded with nostalgia.
I began to watch the Gen 1 anime/movies again, and I picked up the most recent anime/movies at the time (XY-era) to learn about the Pokemon in Kalos. Without Pokemon Sapphire, I don’t know that I would have reentered the hobby multiple times over the past two decades.
Oh and the TRR Dark Dragonite Reverse Foil is my favorite Dragonite card.

Now it’s a cosmos foil fossil muk that i’ve decided i’m trying to get. I’m not sure what price it can fetch but i hope with time i’ll be able to sell and save enough to get one if an opportunity to buy it appears

My grail card is 1st ed charizard from base set in an 8 or above. But since that is very much out of my reach. I’m very happy with my shadowless. So now my grail is to have all the shadowless holos in an 8 or above.

Well it’s just a fossil muk but instead of galaxy foil it has cosmos foil. The origins aren’t 100% clear but it’s speculated it’s a test print since all the cosmos foil fossil cards originate from former wotc employees

yeah everything else i want from this era is obtainable with a paycheck if i want it bad enough. luckily for me, idc most of the high end items

These would be my absolute grail cards. Honestly, the Miracle Diamond still seems realistic as I have seen them show up, I cant afford them now, but if I had enough money, I can possibly get it. The Wonder Platinum on the other hand, I have never even seen and probably won’t. So even if I had the money, I won’t be able to own the card.
