What is the rarest english pikachu card?

Not going by PSA pop reports, just how many copies in any conditon and not including trophy cards.
My guess is WB creator pack promo, would be around 5000 or so copies.

Another possible guess would be gold star pikachu. And if we maybe include variations then these come to mind reverse holo skyridge, non holo worlds collection pikachu, red cheeks 1st ed base.

Might be a question for @quuador

I completely forgot they had english art academy cards. I have the japanese one with pikachu holding an umbrella in the rain burned into my mind when i think art academy.

MATCHPRINT Pikachu for sure, since there are only two copies in existence. :blush:

Some others that come to mind (most are already mentioned):

  • Inverted WB stamp Pikachu;
  • No stamp WB Pikachu;
  • The five English Art Academy Pikachus (especially the two that haven’t emerged for sale yet);
  • Sample Pikachu (the English one with Japanese back of course);

After that perhaps:

  • WB Creator Pack Pikachu
  • non-Holo 035 Pikachu (Swedish exclusive from the Donald Duck magazine)
  • Thin 1st edition Base Set Pikachu
  • Grey Red Cheeks 1st editions Base Set Pikachu
  • 50cm Jumbo Base Pikachu

Can I ask what pikachu cards have given you the most trouble to obtain?

The ones I don’t have yet. :slightly_smiling_face:

But for just the English Pikachus: same answer, since I’m still missing two English Art Academy cards as well as a grey 1st edition Red Cheeks Base Set Pikachu. But after that probably the Inverted and No Stamp WB Pikachus, since those were one of the last English Pikachu cards I added to my collection.
