A small set that releases in a booster box, like Pokekyun, Detective Pikachu, or Movie Comm Random Pack.

Preferably where I can name >75% of the Pokémon

I just want to see a set that isnt printed into dust again. There were a lot of modern cards I thought were super nice looking but most of the holo’s may as well be cereal stickers with the pop numbers

A set which is purely focused on Johto region is a must after success of 151, lately there’s been so many awesome gen 2 illustration rares I feel Pokemon company needs to take a chill pill just to make sure there’s enough options left for 2025. :pikahappy:

There’s at least 2 cards which I’ve dreamed about: illustration rare Kyogre that has connected background with Paradox Rift/Raging Surf Groudon IR, another good one would be special illustration rare Tapu Fini ex, it and Tapu Lele are still missing first gen 9 tcg cards so my hopes remain high. :slightly_smiling_face:

I think brining back light Pokemon in juxtaposition with the Team Rocket/Dark Pokemon them would be fun! But overall any set that I just more congruent and better at story telling!

I’m a boomer so more Gen 1-3 focus. The artwork in these modern sets is freakin amazing and I’d love to see Pokemon I actually know.

On one hand, Greninja has been getting a lot of cards lately. But on the other, I really want a Dark Greninja in the Team Rocket set. I also am expecting it to show up in Legends Z-A.

Not many specific requests in the thread. Things like “Gen 1/2/3” - I mean, they have these Pokemon in every set and some of them do get AR cards.

Since this year’s HCS is included in the 2nd half, I’d like to see (which didn’t come to fruition last year):

  • SRs for Brassius, Atticus, Youngster, Nemona (Violet), Raifort and Tyme

  • SAR or equivalent set for all Paldea gym leaders, set for Paldea E4/Champion, set for Team Star, set for Academy teachers and set for Blueberry E4 in 2025 HCS, Paldea/Kitakami/Blueberry Friends

  • SRs to be dumped for SARs in 2025 and all ex and Supporters will get them. If set structure remains the same the change would be -6/8 Pokemon SR +3/4 Pokemon SAR +1/2 Supporter SAR

  • If Megas return and get SAR cards, they should be the same rarity as SR and not redo the rainbow rare rarity. This would add most likely another 3-4 SAR per set.

  • Stadium secret rares to become landscape and SAR style, dropping the excessive gold and thick outlines

  • All Gen 9 Pokemon to get AR/SAR by the end of the generation & all Pokemon that were in Paldea/Kitakami/Blueberry to get at least 1 card

  • SRs for some other named characters in Paldea including Hideko, Yukito, Billy & O’Naire and some trainer classes like Kitakami Ogre Clan, Dragon Tamer etc

  • Hope for as few as possible tera/stellar SARs, even ending them by this year’s HCS in anticipation for Megas

  • Cards for Budew, Chingling, Smoochum, Munchlax to get them out of the DPP/HGSS era

Yep, that’s what I meant, you just said it better than me. Give me a smaller, cohesive set with a strong Gen 1/2/3 theme (the pokemon, regions, routes, towns, etc).

I really loved the Pidgey/Pidgeotto/Pidgeot from Obsidian Flames.

I would love to see an entire set of these kind of cards.

Mfs got 151, multiple charizards, and are getting Team Rocket Returns Returns and will still complain about lack of gen wun
