What do you do with pack fresh commons/uncommons?

Seeing people like rusty and other people who open old WOTC booster boxes or large amounts of packs has me wondering. What do you guys do with all the non rare cards? Just sleeve them and save them? I know most common or uncommons aren’t worth grading unless it is a true 10, and even then some are still really cheap. Do you just keep them all in sleeves?

I’m currently saving up my bulk until I have enough to sell or trade for a sealed booster box. I’ll probably sell them to Derium’s or The Awesome Couple. I’ve never done this before since I’ve only really got back into collecting this year and I’m just now approaching the required 3000 cards for the box. I’ve read nothing but good things about both shops and I’m hoping the process goes smoothly, but I’d like to know if anybody here knows of other shops that will buy/trade bulk.

I could maybe get more from them if I sold lots on eBay, but I really don’t want to go through the hassle.

Definitely a great deal for bulk, do keep in mind though most places pay $0.03 per card, which would equal about $90.00 for 3000 bulk.

I was more referring to old sealed WOTC product bulk, aka mint or near mint WOTC commons and uncommons.

My mistake. I haven’t opened any WOTC packs since Base Set was still in print but I’ve kept all those cards in sleeves and Card Saver 1s, including common and uncommon. If I had hundreds of them I’d probably sleeve them and keep in a binder to save space.

I convince myself I’m going to sort it out and have it nice and organized. In reality I know it’s going into an empty dragon shield box with zero organization.

If I personally open WOTC non-holos or if I purchase already sleeved pack fresh non-holos - then I just keep em for later on. Occasionally I will go through and cherry pick for people, but it is more expensive.

If I purchases non-sleeved pack fresh bulk I just sell them individually(it is rare, but sometimes you hit huge boxes of NOS). This can add up quickly over time

I’ve opened a decent amount of WoTC booster boxes over the past 2-3 years (little over 10 or so). IMO grading them is a waste of time and money unless your really good at guessing 10s but even then it might take years to sell.

Personally, I sleeve them all and keep them in a cardboard storage container. From there I sell complete uncommon/common sets and try to trade what I can for stuff that I need for my personal collection.

If it’s old WOTC boosters, I’d assume the cards that look like 9s and 10s get graded since they’re worth 15-50 and sometimes higher per card

What pack fresh sets do you have that might be for sale?

I have always just put the commons/uncommons/energies back in the booster pack wrapper. Sometimes even the rare too if it isn’t holo. I always carefully open the packs from the top so I can do this. I haven’t opened too many packs… but the thickness of the wrapper doesn’t add much at all in the storing process in my opinion. Really cuts down on the time and money of sleevimg an additional 10 cards

The complete Uncommon/Common sets that I have are Unlimited Base Set, Base Set 2, Unlimited/1st Edition Fossil, Unlimited/1st Edition Team Rocket, Unlimited/1st Edition Gym Challenge, Unlimited Jungle, and I might have Unlimited Gym Heroes/Neo Discovery/Expediton Base (might of sold/traded them all).

I also have a handful of rares from all those sets

I usually put one set of commons and uncommons in a binder. The duplicates I sell as bulk on eBay, trade for other cards or trade for a cheap booster.

Pick out the art I enjoy and sort into a pile. The other pile is stored in a drawer that will accumulate until it’s time to sell some.

I live in a HCOL city and with space at a premium, I can’t keep all the cards I pull.

I have a big box with commons/uncommons that I visit every now and then. I like them because they remind me of a time where Pokémoncards weren´t (partly) about money.
