I’m a Primary School Teacher in Melbourne, Australia. I graduated about four years ago and then worked and lived in London for a couple of years with a bunch of mates. Now I’m back home and had Grade 3s the last few years. Pretty rewarding and good fun.

In the next few years I’m pretty keen to teach overseas again. I’ve heard SE Asia can be pretty cool, but also interested in Japan or maybe an international school in Europe. But really, who can travel anymore when Pokemon is your hobby? haha

Grade 3 is my favourite grade to teach. Still cute, but mature enough not to run around screaming like G1&2.

As for going overseas - do it!

Went to school to be an electrician. I did it for awhile and it’s alright, but recently I decided to buy my own pool cleaning route and truck. Can’t beat the hours and the pay is great

U.S. Merchant Marine! And No, that’s not the armed-forces (get that question all the time)… Haha

I work onboard a 600’ General-Cargo Vessel as Third-Mate (Actually just got my Second-Mate USCG License) carrying all types of different cargos and traveling all across the globe. I’ve been to every continent except Antarctica; and have been able to visit some of the richest countries and some of the poorest countries in the world. I generally work for 90-120 Days - working 12 / Hr. Days, 7 Days / Week while I’m working - there’s no such thing as ā€œweekendsā€ or ā€œholidaysā€ while I’m working. However, after my rotation, I spend that same 90-120 Days at home not having to worry about anything!

It’s truly the best of both worlds! Don’t get me wrong, there are days where it is truly THE WORST JOB EVER! However, at the end of the rotation, I get to fly-home and forget about everything - that’s when I run my eBay Business.

I am a Chef for a catering service for elementary schools. We deliver about 3000 hot meals(plus dessert, snack and drink) to kids in the area. Small-ish pay, but I like it and I have summer off and christmas/spring break. Quite happy with the schedule as well, I don’t have to work nights/weekends like other people in the industry.

It’s also legit good/healthy food, compared to what I was served in the cafeteria as a child.

They are great! I like the 3/4s the best too. Just a really good year for a lot of kids I reckon.

I’ve been working as a Physical Therapist for about 4 years now
IT’s always been my dream job and and glad I get to do it. Tough road it was though.

Hoping to open up my own clinic in the future.

I don’t even know how to explain what I do but I’ll give it a try. I’m working as a caretaker in a boarding home for children and teenager with (mainly physical) disabilities. We’re open 365 days in a year, even when our school is closed. This is because we have some residents who are orphans or have instable families. Christmas is a somewhat dark time of the year since even though we have decent funds and get some donations, nothing can cheer up a lonely kid on christmas eve. Quite a bunch of them were abused in the past and have psychological issues which amplifies bad/suicidal thoughts during this time of the year.

On the bright side: Our kids got me back into Pokemon which I’m very thankful for.

same, but at least I get pay 1.5x on every Sunday (not busy day). I’m almost done with my associate degree on computer science.

Basically I’m a student while working full time.

Like some of the members here, I’m also a pimary school teacher. I’ve been teaching 3rd graders over the past five years. I used to teach grade 1 and 2 but my patience couldn’t handle it so I asked to be transfered to higher grades. I was once given an opportunity to teach 4th grade but eventually asked to be transfered back to grade 3 .
