I recently bought a near mint 1st edition raikou from revelations. Upon arriving, I found a sneaky crease, one of those ones that when you know where to look for, you can see it in the original pictures, but otherwise you wouldn’t notice. The seller has a bit of feedback, all positive, with selling pokemon cards and it was described as nm which it would have been if not for the crease so I trusted it. So I open the return case, because I just want to return it and get my refund, not interested in creased cards, but the seller said I didnt provide sufficent proof, which is bs because you can clearly see the crease. I know I will get reimbursed, but will ebay take the $180 bullet? Is the seller unaware I will get refunded regardless even if they deny the return or are the knowingly trying to scam ebay? I dont want to take the card, ive returned cards to disgruntled and misleading sellers before that fought the return, but this seems really unpleasant if this seller gets the card back and scams ebay of 180 bucks.
Sorry for the wall of text, just wondering what your guys’ thoughts are on this.
