lum berry is legit a great card. So useful in RSE
i remember resetting in front of that berry man in lilycove forever
This card reminds me of the RBY game lore; finding it at an abandoned power plant outside cerulean city feels perfectly depicted here.
Great slowking card as profile pic too. feel it’s underrated.
Kusube from EX Dragon → EX Deoxys is one of my favorite runs of any artist. Her cards and Nishida’s define the EX era for me.
TYTY - sowsow is goated
Do you prefer a card that isn’t in perfect condition, with some marks and “battle scars,” but that has belonged to you for years or even pulled from a pack yourself……or that same card, bought to another person but in pristine condition? ![]()
I’m weak I want someone else’s pristine ![]()
Ryo Ueda era EX art is so good
I wonder if the foil itself is colored??? I might need to acetone one of these for science
I like to think this Flygon (Lotad, Trapinch, Vibrava and some tumbleweed thing) and Yanma are sitting somewhere along the edges of the desert (Regirock) on route 111 in R/S/E. Maybe in the pond above the Winstrate trainer family’s house
Today I appreciate Typhlosion prime which was both my first “big” Typhlosion card I ever got and also the last black star promo card that I got as a kid (from the Spring 2010 collector tin).
I’m so happy that we’re once again getting cards with silver holographic borders (bonus points specifically for the use of cosmos holofoil). Pokemon Prime and LEGEND were the very last card types like this until the Scarlet & Violet series completely got rid of the yellow borders on all cards.
I love when the artwork has those details that create a sense of continuity.
The artist could bring that continuity to future expansions if given the chance. Whenever I see cards like that, I think about that possibility.
