Unova is the best gen based on region, pokemon, lore and everything so they need to nerf it hard by making the anime worst.

I do not know about the games but I agree with the anime point. I know the reason why Ash has to have like a soft reset in every new region from an anime perspective, but coming off the heels of Sinnoh where Ash was just at his peak. Extremely great battler who adapted really well, in Unova just seemed too dumb. The Snivy beating Goat-chu was just the beginning. I also did not enjoy the companions who replaced Brock and Dawn who are just the best.

Yes! It’s why I kind of have a thing for the German Fossil holos too (is German Jungle cosmos too?)

Yep, other languages too like this Spanish Jolteon I have had since I was a kid (was a random playground trade since I live in the UK), I do much prefer the cosmos holo too.

I actually like the galaxy holo, it’s so unique. As a kid and even now, when I’m looking at the cards, it’s somehow like staring into an infinite window. No matter where you move your head, the holo moves with you. That’s an effect I did not get with cosmos. I’m not sure if that’s popular or unpopular but thought I would share it here as well.

It’s funny. I started with JP and the cosmos holo, AND YET, every time I look at my shadowless-fossil sets, i can’t help but…
With every card I was taking the time to catch the [galaxy] holo in the light and just really enjoy it. I didn’t do the same with [everything else].
Literally the exact same thing for me with galaxy. Each to their own, I suppose. I just love the layers of the 90s 3D holo in base-jungle… AND Legendary. AND almost evolutions.

Honestly: most ‘expensive’ cards are ugly. The pretty ones are not super expensive or overlooked. I feel that if ‘grading’ wasn’t a thing, we would have a better balance.
Lastly: I prefer to buy a PSA 9 over a PSA 10, because the price difference is unnecessarily big, while the differences when it comes to the card is barely noticeable. Plus, the fact that PSA 10 card can get damaged while in the slab does not make it worthwile for me.

I agree, l only own three psa 10 cards, bought two and self graded one. The 10 premium (especially on anything from s&m onwards) is absolute nonesense. I want the best bang for my money I spend on the hobby/ my collection and 99% of the time PSA or CGC 8-9s do just that. These two 10s being the 1%
Also the Umbreon & Darkrai, Espeon & Deoxys GX Alt arts from Tag Team All Stars are greatly superior to the SWSH alternate arts in every way! The latios & latias gx also dwarfs anything in terms of art vs anything in SWSH.

It’s nice but I feel that it also “dulls” quite easily on more played-with cards (if that makes sense?). If you’re on more of a budget, holos with more marked surfaces don’t impress. Cosmos seems to endure better. Or maybe this is just something I see and it isn’t actually a thing lol.
Anyone notice that Vs prices have been rising?!
