What are your unpopular opinions in pokemon?

Yeah that does look pretty nice!

Yeah, that mewtwo hand has bonkers styling, considering, it’s just 3 balls and a city scape.

Not exclusively Pokémon.* But when buying graded cards now, I look for newer cert numbers because: a. the slabs will very often have little to no scratching, looking very clean, especially when compared to a lot of the older cert’s slabs, that I’ve received; and b. I like the PSA scans.

Who’s with me?

As long as it isn’t the icky old label designs, I could care less about what the cert number is.

I’m not picky with certs but there is always have a special place in my heart for 0xx. Basically guaranteed to have been graded during the original area. Also it most likely won’t repeat when PSA does a lap here pretty soon after 9xx certs.

what happens after 9XX?

The y2k bug, end of grading!

Seriously tho they will have to add a digit soon so I’m guessing they start back at 1. I guess they could add a 0 first,

The term “raw” when describing an ungraded card pisses me off

You’re so right it’s not even funny.

My wife asked me not to use the term because she didn’t like it. My suggestion to use “loose” didn’t go over any better…

Maybe we can go with Sans Plastic

‘Virgin’ is probly out of the question.
How about ‘naked’?

OK, seriously. ‘untamed’?

Majority of Pokémon content creators are npc’s.

More specifically, content has shifted to viewers wanting an experience. @Coop13 is a great example, people want to experience a convention or something more light hearted and digestible. Also this requires more steps, which makes it harder to replicate. Where openings and giving your hot take is low effort and tired. Most openings & discussion channels are talking to themselves.

I don’t think this is a hot take at all tbh.

I’d just also say that the “NPC” content is also what a lot of people (including myself) enjoy!

Having something chill and easily digestable playing in the background is my preferred video form.

Or some imaginary 70 IQ audience representing one dumb comment on a platform somewhere or people that missed/are about to miss the boat because they don’t have the means to fill a bathroom with whatever bulletproof $tonk that’s on the current agenda.
