I’m getting really tired of everyone highlighting the “swirl”. The swirl on it’s own ain’t anything special anymore. Appropriate placement? SURE! YES! But just a random usually swirl somewhere?! Pshh!
But on their own, the giant planet, or my favorite, “Orion’s belt” are far superior to a random swirl.
Here. Examples: random swirls with random other features. And a perfect planet chain/orion’s belt. Which catch your eye more?

The holo scratches on that Fearow catch my eye the most. But after that I agree Orion’s belt looks cool.

Agreed. I could care less if a card has a swirl or not. I used to think they were pretty cool but after hearing so many people obsess over them, charge premiums for their inclusion or refuse to buy a card unless it had a swirl, I want nothing more to do with them.
DESTROY ALL SWIRLS AND ACHIEVE TRUE HOLO EQUALITY

I think I’ve seen the same listing. It might just be up there as more of a show-off listing, which is fine because it is a pretty sweet holo pattern interaction.

I’ve spoken to the seller before. He’s turned down $10,000+ offers. He also tried to win my copy in auction, but accidentally put $1,000 rather than $10,000 as a final bid.

That orb placement is relatively common on the Japanese copies, I would imagine it’s the same on English ones as well
