@holofoilstarmie and @merciersj, since you both mentioned the front of depression… I’ve read before that being in nature does something with helping depression! If its possible, take some time out of each day and go just hang out or take a walk in the woods! Pick some flowers if possible too, I’ve heard that helps as well. Or if you’re lucky to have something as rad as this, go to it!

Collection Goals:
* Japanese Gyarados Skyridge 027/088 non-holo UED (Just got the Holo version from a German seller)
* At least ONE Japanese Gyarados HeartGold & SoulSilver L1 UED (either holo or Reverse Holo) if it even exists.
* A Red Legion Dragon Hide Binder - I’ve officially run out of room in my blue one, so I’ll be separating my Non-Shiny/Shiny Gyarados in two binders.
* A Terribly Played and reasonably priced SNAP Gyarados - I don’t care if this thing went through the wash and quarter chunk is missing, as long as it’s reasonably priced. Not sure there is such a thing (let me know if there is though!). I just want to be able to say I’ve completed my collection or kept it up to date.
Personal Goals:
* I started Rock Climbing, so it’d be great to hit V5 or even V6 by the end of 2020.
* Earn my Apelido (nickname) in Capoeira. Usually it takes 2+ years to earn your next cord after hitting Yellow-Blue (my current rank) but I’m hoping to dedicate more focus to earn it by the time Batizado comes up in the summer.
* Find a new job relating to either Theatre/Music, pre-school work, or animals/bugs/nature. I want to expand my horizons and as long as it pays relatively the same or more as what I make as a Behavioral Specialist, I’ll be fine.
* Find a new apartment.
* Come out with my first EP which also requires I get better with my guitar which I just picked back up again.
* Travel to Toronto, Iceland, and Australia.

This year has been pretty lax for me but for 2020 I’m looking to pick up either a Unikarp, Miracle Diamond, or some other high value card. Also looking to finish my Play Promo collection (just need Espeon and Umbreon), and I think on the cheaper side, to collect the WoTC Black star promo cards in PSA 10.

I finished my last 2019 goal a little later than I wanted (today) which was to buy a FPO card in a green PSA slab. My 2020 goal is to save up money buy some type of trophy card.

Well, that “exploratory” year was more like an exploratory month, but man what a crazy year it’s been!
I decided to pursue a full mint condition set-based English ex set (139 cards). While I was initially collecting 10s, those quickly became out of reach for me and I adjusted my goal to be 8s and above, although the vast majority of what I have so far are 9s and 10s and I would eventually like the collection to be 9+. Currently I am 38.9% of the way to a full set, which is great for one year, but I do not anticipate being able to maintain that pace given the price rises and how I like to collect. Completing this will be a long-term goal for me.
I purchased a bunch of Japanese Lv. X and really enjoy them. Many are off for grading right now, a full set is certainly in the cards but that may be a side goal of sorts.
I have also continued to pick up some of my favorite BW and XY cards, especially EX full arts, in high grades. I do not have a defined goal here yet, basically just picking up the ones I like.
Personally, I completed my Master’s degree and have started a PhD program. Crazy how fast things move sometimes!

Skyridge +34 → 38/38 I managed to pick up 2 basically complete graded holo sets for cheap this year and killed the crystals. MVP set of the year
Also collecting Japanese T and P promos in PSA 10:
P promos +2 → 40/47 still have some of these raw to grade
T promos +0 → 19/24 these really shot up in price 
Hopefully I will finish off the neo sets this year and put a dent into eseries Mission accomplished I guess.

Oof, this hits a bit different that’s for sure!
Got the last Unlimited Mysterious Mountains Gyarados (the Japanese Skyridge) so that’s a full set done. Still no sight of an Unlimited L1, though. Got the red legion dragon hide binder, so that was exciting! Thought it’s been longer than a year. Haha. And we all know about the snap. So not bad! 50%!
Personal goals, well, I hit up to V4 which was an accomplishment before things shut down. Covid shut a lot of these down, to be honest. I just did send out some new applications for a job in forestry, so we’ll see. I also had a planned trip to Iceland in April but things got locked down right around then. So no luck there. We’ll see what the new year brings.
