Being able to earn a paycheck for the first time means my hyperfixation/fictional crush has become an even bigger financial burden aha. On top of collecting the general merch/any physical media they’re in an expanding my shrine, I have a couple tcg-related goals:
Collect at least 100 of Cyrus’ trainer card.
Either a mix of Boss’ Orders, Conspiracy, Initiative and Prism star, one of them or maybe each one (hard cope). Either way, 100 Cyrus = happiness
Finish decorating and arranging my dedicated binder
Try and acquire even one graded card. Never had one before
Acquire the dpt promo variant of Cyrus’ Conspiracy
Oh and a couple more of his premium tournament collection items, specifically the jumbo coin, deck box, and especially the milk carton packaging^^
This year will see me finishing up Team Rocket Returns and all 4 HeartGold SoulSilver sets. I meant to finish these last year but forgot to order the last few cards before the end of the year. Should have all 5 sets finished this month.
Next goal is to wrap up the Scarlet Violet block. Currently missing 1 black star promo and a couple of cards from Black Bolt White Flare.
I really want to get started on the Platinum block of cards. They have a ton of trainer’s Pokemon and I love that kind of thing.
Still slowly working on my VS collection. Seeing some of the prices for Umbreon gets me super nervous but I would love to pull the trigger on one eventually.
I’ll continue the post i made in 2025 thread moments ago as i start to talk about the upcoming year and my goals for it. I mentioned in previous thread i’m still not in a good place and there’s a lot of uncertainty there but i anyway want to aim for some good things. Regarding cards i did get my biggest wants last year and i’m prepared to take time with rest of my now top 3 wants, i originally said that i’d like to get one card per year so if i average that i now have four years to get the rest of them. It’s still not a goal i can very much affect other than do the saved searches, so to have some more precise goals i would also like to complete my vintage japanese wants list during 2026. It’s less than 10 cards now so should be doable, especially with the big cards like natta wake already taken care of.
Other than that, i’m trying my best to get the nursery rhymes book i’ve been doing going on again. Soon it’ll already be time where my eldest probably can’t enjoy it as much so i’m starting to run out of time. I also want to keep going to the gym and keep recovering to get my health back as good as possible. And regarding E4, first i’m aiming to keep updating both my collection threads and my articles, but also i hope i can be again more active in a regular way instead of my on-off activity that last year was, and i hope i can finally be able to take part on things like secret santa as i’ve missed it so many years already. The minimum goal is to just survive but i’ll do everything possible to be able to enjoy it, i’m really hoping this year will be decent even though the starting point isn’t exactly the best one possible.
I want to expand my charizard collection. saying youre a charizard fan and then only showing off my 5 charizard cards (wich are worth almost nothing) is kind of a shame) is not a true fan. Hopefully itll grow
from one small timer to another (at least for now), try not to get down on yourself for the monetary value of your cards!!! if your collection means something to you, that’s all you need
Finishing up my Pokemon “At Night” binder, CGC 10 Pristine only Japanese Zekroms from all eras (plan on framing it), and possibly finish my Mightyena/Houndoom binders as well.

Best I can tell there are 33 cards in that set. So far I have 5 of them. Lots of leads though, but I’m taking my time with it. This is my list after some research. If I missed anything please let me know.
Completed my goal to 95% end of December 2025 surprisingly I never thought would happen to be honest paid under market but too bad there is barely any market in general. That being said I am looking for someone if anyone knows like Strictly Sealed to do a 2~4 part series professionally edited of my sets and some history Strictly Sealed is one channel or another whose interested if anyone wants to do it or knows someone? My only goal is for now is getting my collections on a YT video
I think it would be good content since most are poor editing or only one set. The only set I am missing from Singapore is Pippi which is not a goal but if I complete that set then I will be finished with those as far as complete.
Now I am going to check out Strictly Sealed. A professionally edited series going beyond the collecting/value and doing some more ‘bench talk’ like two collectors would do when talking to one another would definitely be up my alley to watch. You’d have an audience member here.
Yeah there are others but I have no idea whose willing to do it just yet. The other guy I cant think of his name plus my collection isn’t as mainstream but adds something new I know Goldin did a similar thing on there new series but I dont see my collection as worthwhile because there are guys with better collections than mine undoubtedly in manga and other Rare PoP Culture books That Manga Guy is probably one of the top collectors’ and another guy : Grailmonster who I spoke to a few times owns all the best One Piece Mangas and Naruto DBZ in BGS highest grades along with I’m sure the actual Pokemon cards inside the CoroCoro books attached.
Find some mid tier trophies raw that are gradeable. Cynthia, stadium, maybe orb, or hyper mewtwo/zard. Nothing that is 5 figures raw, but still something expensive enough to make me a little nervous.

-Bought every mainline card under 30 bucks (not on this list)

Only a few goals for me this year. I want to really focus on putting capital towards buying the WOTC 1st ed Houndooms in 2027, before they inevitably get out of budget, and that means restricting my spending and grinding the side hustles.
1: Finally make a collection thread. Self explanatory really, I have a pretty alright collection of Houndooms at this point but rarely do I post it in a place which encourages interaction and conversation about the collection.
2: Finish the Japanese 25th set in PSA 10. I’ve graded all the cards myself after purchasing raws, and im missing only a few of the cheapies because I just cant get 10s..
3: Start the all language Houndoom binder! I have my first purchase for this already courtesy of a fellow forum member reaching out to me I think it will be a fun yet inexpensive chase(hopefully). I really like collection pieces which are hard to find even if they arent expensive, and going down the all language binder route seems perfect for that.
4: Consume less ‘brain rot’ pokemon content. Almost none of the drama means anything. I dont need to watch 17 tiktoks on PSA drama. And yet I do anyway, and it annoys me. Time to sort that out.
Regardless of what occurs this year I just hope to have a fun time in the hobby!
