Hey! Iām from Belgium and like many of us, I started collecting the English Unlimited Base Set as a kid. I soon switched over to collecting Dutch cards once those came out because my mom told me āthose English cards would be too difficult for me to understandā. Have loved Dutch cards ever since, but was never really a fan of the 1st edition stamps back then because I thought they made the cards look ugly. Now, all these years later, Iām trying to collect the Dutch 1st edition Base Set in PSA 10. Funny how these things go, right?

Sup. Iām MasterBall. I consume everything Pokemon, for as long as I can remember, such as TCG, video games, anime, movies, and other spin off content. Pokemon is an integral part of my life. Master Ball is the name I chose here because it is my favorite item in the Pokemon metaverse, due to its colors and specific shades of pink and purple. Some of my favorite Pokemon, in no specific order, are Scizor, Scyther, Ditto, Togepi, Latios, Latias, Rayquaza, Deoxys, Darkrai, Torterra, Dialga, Palkia, Arceus, Spiritomb, Garchomp, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Togekiss, Poliwrath, Abra, Magnemite evolution line, Gengar evolution line, Electrode, Weezing, Porygon Evolution Line, Gyarados, Snorlax, the list goes on. Fun fact about me is I was born and raised in NYC, which is home to the only Nintendo store in USA, which also used to originally be the Pokemon Center New York, before it got remodeled in the early 2000ās. One of my holy grail Pokemon cards is actually from the grand opening of that very store! The card I am referencing to is WOTC Black Star Promo #40, āPokemon Centerā, which was released for the grand opening of the Pokemon Center NY store.

realized I never posted in here so hello! I collected as a kid from base set up to around ex fire red and leaf green, got back into it for a little during the platinum sets for a few months, and then most recently got back into it around 2015ish after buying a first edition gym challenge pack and pulling a rocketās mewtwo. I enjoy collecting modern japanese (special arts, character rares, and the xy special sets), my favorite pokemon (jirachi, piplup, flaaffy, chikorita, calyrex), and my favorite artists (komiya and asako ito). Always loved the games as well and have played them all except for sun and moon. looking forward to growing my collection in the years to come and discussing the hobby here!
