Hello Everyone,
I’m Chuck, Poor Poke Pulls on discord. I got my first Pokemon cards in 1999. I remember opening some Team Rocket packs for my 10th birthday and pulling back to back Dark Charizards. I mostly played the tcg back then and moved on to Yugioh and then abandoned cards for a long time. Like many people I got back into a couple years ago right up until I walked into my local big box store and there were 8 dudes standing by the cards waiting for the distributor. I lost interest right then and there. Now that stuff is consistently back on the shelves and things are calming down I decided to try again. Recently I have been mostly collecting sealed stuff that catches my eye. I’ve also started to try to complete some modern sets. Something about the cards just helps calm me down. My childhood binders are still missing but I managed to find some old loose cards.
I’m excited to see what the communities are doing these days.

Welcome, @pokechuck! Definitely feel ya on the calming effect of colored cardboard. Many of us here feel the same way.
Hello!
I am Patrick.
I live in the USA.
I collect all types of Pokemon cards.
I was born in the 90s so Pokemon has always been a part of my life.
Really looking forward to meeting and conversing with you all!
Welcome here @antidote
Hey everyone! I go by Jun and I am currently a PhD student. I was born in the late 90’s and start collecting Pokemon cards when I was in 3rd grade, around the time of late EX era and DP era. I always loved the cards but stopped collecting until last year. I got in again during the time of the pandemic because I thought it was really fun and I love the artwork. I also like the idea that something that I loved growing up also has monetary value, I am also very into finance and investing!
I am mostly a sealed collector and am mostly collecting sealed ETBs. I am almost done with the complete collection! My goal is to also have every DP-era box.
I find this forum to be pretty helpful and am looking forward to visiting this site more often!

Hello @operationbebop, glad you joined!
Hi everyone, glad to have finally found this place! I’ve been lurking the incredible resources and discussions for months but finally bit the bullet and decided to make an account.
I’ve only been a collector for about a year (excluding my childhood years from the 90s-2000s) but boy what a ride it’s been. I got back into the hobby last year with a few small purchases of MP binder cards. Fast forward to today and I find myself chasing the big boys such as high grade Crystals and E-series cards.
Pokemon has always been a huge part of my life, and it took me a while to realize this. Even when the TCG craze died down, I was still always playing the games and socializing with others about the franchise. As an adult with disposable income, it’s brought me no greater joy than to be able to both collect the cards from my childhood as well as all the amazing cards that I missed when I ‘grew out’ of the hobby.
Hoping to get to know people better here and continue to deepen my knowledge and love of the hobby.

Hey guys, my name is Daryl. I am new to the hobby. Known on twitch and discord as Dazzzzaaa. Recently got back to the hobby because of my friend and my nephew and niece. I don’t know much about the hobby and eager to learn. I am from Hong Kong. So getting English card is not as easy. Looking forward to meet collectors world wide. Thank you.
Hey Daryl, nice to meet you! Welcome to the forum.
