Iāve been following our great overlord Sā¦ Mā¦ Pratte on YouTube for a while now, and thought Iād join the efour community. Iāve been following Pokemon for quite some time now ā I first purchased a copy of Pokemon Blue at a yard sale when I was a few years old, and consumed my childhood since. Pokemon Diamond was the last Pokemon game I played, and was the start of a decade long hiatus for me. As with many, Covid sparked a re-entry into the hobby, and Iāve been slowly building up a collection over the past year or two.
Looking forward to chatting with everyone. This seems like a really friendly group!

Hi all! Iāve been browsing the forums anonymously for a bit as well as watching a lot of Pokemon Youtube, but I decided to finally go ahead and make an account so I can share my collection and meet other Pokemon collectors.
I primarily collect FA Trainers as well as cards that prominently feature trainers (like Cosmic Eclipse SRs and the GX FAs as well as SWSH Alt Arts). Some of my favorite Pokemon are Bulbasaur/Venusaur, Zapdos, Rayquaza, Torterra, Vaporeon, Sylveon and Yamper!

I grew up with Pokemon cards and was especially fond of the Gameboy games. I love the original base/jungle/fossil cards, especially the terrible computer animation ones. When I look at my collection, itās not just about Pokemon, but it brings back a ton of 90s nostalgia. For example, anyone ever notice that the original Farfetchād looks sort of like an enemy from the SNES game Earthbound?
Iām hoping that this community can eventually become another resource to help further my own collection, as well as a place where I can eventually share lessons learned along the way. Thanks for reading!

Lurked here for a few years, just now deciding to join in on the fun. Iāve been collecting avidly the past couple years but put together many binder sets since the original era.
Currently just over halfway done with my PSA 10 1st Edition Jungle & Fossil holo sets. Hoping to learn from all of you as I expand my collection and maybe get some tips on tracking down some of these hard to find cards! Next up after these two Iāll be going after some Neo cards.
