DISCLAIMER:
I don’t know if this is the way to give site feedback/suggestions, but this is such a tiny issue, yet it is annoying me however it’s not even a worry if this doesn’t change whatsoever. I can live with it. I’m aware this forum is built on someone else’s software and might be more a them issue anyhow.
I put together my current avatar image very carefully, so that when you half the image size, it still looks good with the horizontal lines. The original is 512px squared. If you click on my name, the size on website is 128px. So far so good. That is two halvings of 512, so the lines look clean.
on the thread list homepage, avatars are 34px. But its in a way I don’t quite understand. It has 1 pixel poking out of each corner, but crops in the rest of the image. At first inspection it looks like 32x but its not.
On posts in threads, its most egregious and notable. the size is 60px. It should be 64px.
Now, I don’t mind one way or another what the scaling size is. I can work to tweak what I do to match it. But in the computor world 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1028 etc. is baked into my brain.
But what kind of scaling is 34,60,128? 34,68,136, 30,60,120 or 32,64,128. I’m a math dummy. But I’m not seeing how to make a size that fits 34,60,128 for scaling cleanly.
