I joined recently, happy to be here. I’m on an admittedly difficult quest to find a sealed WB Kids Poke Creator Pack. I was actually one of the original 5,000 first prize winners back in the day as an 11 year old. I drew Mudkip, and I remember being SO excited to open up my letter. Funny enough, I thought “first prize” winner meant I actually WON, but I found out that only the 5 “grand prize” winners got their cards made . Pretty silly phrasing for a prize given to a kid. Either way, still a very very special memory for me.
Unfortunately, over the past 20 years I’ve lost my cards, so I’ve been slowly collecting them again as an adult. I just completed the set of raw cards! And now the final thing I’d LOVE to add to my collection would be a sealed pack. It’s my grail of all grails that I’d never want to part with. I know they are incredibly hard to find which is why I’m posting here in hopes someone knows more. I know I’m supposed to list a price I’d pay here, but it really is difficult since they’re so unusual and niche. I’d love to just talk it out with the owner, but obviously I’d be willing to pay thousands of dollars for it! And I’d be prepared to sell off a large portion of my PC to pay for it too. Very motivated

Haha no worries! It is genuinely confusing, as evidenced by my 11 year old self believing my art was actually selected. I think in the 90’s and 2000’s there were so many sweepstakes and contests going on. It was more common to have “grand prize” winners and also “first prize” winners.
I don’t! I think I printed it out from a website, drew on the form itself, and mailed it in. Didn’t think to take a photo of it back then. But I did try to recreate what I remember it looking like recently! I hand drew it, then took it into photoshop and added some colors and text
This is a wild thread, so cool. Unfortunately this was one of a small handful of packs I never purchased. They were $2,000 or so at the time. I am about to barf looking at these listings.
dang, I was actually wanting to buy a sealed pack last year when it was like $1-2k but didn’t have the guts for it. Mainly because I already have a set of them. Now I wish I had, we’d have a happy story on our hands in this thread if I had. those prices are insane.
Wow! The internet is powerful. I’m a collector / semi-time seller here in SoCal. I actually do have a WB pack in my hands and have just begun my process for pulling mine out the vault to prepare to sell / potentially trade out.
Found your forum post out here on a whim via Google; the internet is powerful. We can definitely talk and see if we can make something happen! I have fielded around with the other sellers via eBay and the fielded offers so far on their packs. Definitely not an item I can give up for cheap but I will definitely try to work something out with ya!
