Value of mint Stadium Challenge Deoxys?

Hi, all! Just stumbled upon one of these and couldn’t find any recent data on it. Any insight would be much appreciated!

@funmonkey54

I really do wonder how someone stumbles upon a mint Stadium Challenge Deoxys…do you have pictures?

Can you post photos?

99.9% of the time people actually have the incredibly similar regional variant.

I guess I’m the lucky .1%

Very nice!

I’ll send you a message with a hodge podge of sale prices. Normally I’d post publicly, but as a lot of the sales are private I’d like to respect involved parties with as much caution as possible.

Timestamp?

not like he is trying to sell it here (and that isn’t even openly allowed). he can provide further proof if he wants, otherwise he just started the topic to talk about the card man :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey may not be openly selling it - but I’m interested.

That conversation should be done through PM then.

Is there any way to get the information publicly? I’m curious to know the value of these cards as well. I understand that yes the sales are private and whatnot, but at the same time you aren’t revealing names and whatnot so it shouldn’t matter…

99% of the time I do it exactly like that but I’m choosing to handle this one differently and I’d like that to be respected.

If someone wants to publicly auction one, that would be a great source of convenient reference.

Timestamps must be asked for via pm? Point me to the rule and I’ll oblige. This is a forum is it not?

Sales must be conducted via PM. You’ve expressed your interest in purchasing and if the OP responds with a timestamped photo it’s advertising that the card is for sale.

I have sold a couple of copies of this card. My most recent sale was $1500.

From his original post, all he said was

I’d hate to interject, but there is nothing in the rules about timestamps. I’m sure if the timestamp was provided @Viral would’ve followed the proper procedure and make a wants thread or private messaged the original poster, but until that instance, it says nothing in the rules about timestamps.

Also curious to know the reasoning behind the assumption that if the OP were to post an image with a timestamp how we are to assume that they are interested in selling and not just responding to the well wishes of our forum members. The OP may have just wanted to prove that this was in fact their card?

@pokemontrader As a moderator I’m making a judgement call. @viral asked for a timestamp and then expressed his interest in purchasing in a later post. In my view, posting a timestamped photo after someone expressed interest in purchasing and requested a timestamp would turn this thread from a price inquiry to a selling thread which is prohibited.

If anyone has an issue with my judgement they can PM me and I can explain further. Further posts on this topic will be removed, let’s stick to discussing the possible value of this card.

The reason for no sales is to avoid people spamming this site with sales. The staff are just cautious for potential selling, which is why they might react to something potentially suspicious.

Either way, @sizzlinshibe you have a solid card. If you do want to sell take it to eBay. I have sold a few of these and can help you if need be.

Thanks Scott for responding to the value so I have an idea of its worth.
So these cards run $1500, pretty cool :open_mouth:

Yes I’ve sold a couple of these, one years ago for $800 and one recently for $1500. Most people are aware of the card thanks to @djgigabyte. He was the first to really showcase it back in the day. Glad people appreciate it’s rarity.
