I’ve checked eBay sold listings for English PSA 10 Charizard G LV. X, and it shows one sale at $5000 (This seems incredibly high).
This listing is however still up, and it says “2 available / 4 sold”. Is this trustworthy and the seller just had 6 PSA 10 Charizards, or is the value of this card different from this? Thanks!
Cardrushinc is not a reliable seller. Never accepts offers. Never replies to questions. Extremely rude. Definitely shills. Seems the PSA 9 price seems to be around $200-300 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/PSA-9-Mint-2009-Pokemon-Charizard-G-LV-X-Platinum-Supreme-Victors-Holo-143-147/153966039278?hash=item23d91750ee:g:iKgAAOSwBZle372J, www.ebay.com/itm/PSA-9-Mint-2009-Pokemon-Charizard-G-LV-X-Platinum-Supreme-Victors-Holo-143-147/164235311550?hash=item263d2ff9be:g:BvsAAOSwZLle3NDj, www.ebay.com/itm/PSA-9-MINT-Charizard-G-LV-X-143-147-Supreme-Victors-Pokemon-Card/264737508007?hash=item3da395caa7:g:N-sAAOSwjW5exX5d)) with the exception of a few outliers.
The last PSA 10 sale (outside of cardrushinc) that I could find was $700 (Actual selling price - eBay offer history), but that was slightly before the price explosion so definitely under current market value.
The PSA 9:PSA 10 ratio is 3.14(lol):1, which does indicate some level of difficulty in terms of grading. With all that said, I think the general ball park for this card in the current market is somewhere between $900 and $1500. Anything above that seems a bit unreasonable. Take all of this with a grain of salt though - I don’t think many expected Lv. X cards to ever experience growth. The EX Era set has just recently started catching onto the WOTC wave and a lot of inorganic activity has driven away genuine collectors so prices are in constant flux.
Hey there, I know of a private sale that was around the $1600 mark
I have stopped purchasing cards from cardsrush. He rarely shows the back of his cards for sale. One of the most over-graded cards in my collection came from him. After reading stories of others who have had the same experience I decided that I’m done.
