Congrats. I also have boys and they just turned 7. I couldn’t ask for anything better. It was very nerve racking and lots of sleepless nights for the first year or so but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
My last name. Also the name everyone calls me since I was 13 because the teachers in school call us by our last name. Since it was an uncommon last name here in Malaysia, it stuck and I introduced myself that way since.

…I just really like Drifloon. I figured I’d make a new username for Pokemon related stuff, since my other internet identities aren’t relevant (except my eBay name which was randomly generated for me based on my actual name).
Side story; back in ye olde days of 1998 I use to roleplay in a Sailor Moon chatroom with other people my age. 21 years later several of us are still friends, and my one friend and I still call each other by our characters initials.

Back in grad school I was really into mathematics. To create a username for reddit I just phonetically spelled out the common notation for a function of x: f(x). It stuck with me and I’ve used it in a few other places since then.
