Is this a good move for the collector? I just bought a box maybe I will keep it sealed. I also play the TCG. I’m torn!!!.

Can’t see it being good for players.Their bread n butter, so that makes me skeptical

Remember when Roaring Skies was out of print?

Will be too important, especially after rotation, to not start the printers back up.

This would be great for collectors if it were true, but I’m not holding my breath.

Since distributors have plenty they’re not ordering more hence, why keep printing?

Just means they won’t have to sell the packs in future mixed pack promo boxes.

“Out of print” has this connotation that there’s no more product out there. I guarantee you there will be no supply problems with Unbroken Bonds, and if there are, the printers will start up again. As we saw wish RSK, Pokemon won’t let an in-rotation set get too high on the secondary market.

Just Roaring Skies 2.0

And even if the printer won’t revv up again, I still don’t have an interest in this set.

Millions of boxes have been printed.

Millions of boxes have been opened.

The saturation is still there, it’s not going anywhere.

I have it on good authority that this set will skyrocket.

Pokemon: well safe to say we can stop printing for a minute.

Collectors:

People who don’t understand print sizes: I JUST BOUGHT 20 CASES WITH A SECOND MORGAGE SO I CAN RICH IN 5 YEARS

“Rich” as a verb here may have been a typo, but it’s actually perfect.

@fourthstartcg, But is it Shiny GX? Charizard? PSA 10?!?!?

Tag team charizard that is playable in competitive = no way it’s permanently out of print. Maybe temporarily, but as long as demand is there, they will print. What it really means is they are not printing insane surplus at a time, but rather printing as needed. The printing of UB could be even more than some XY overprinted sets; however, it’s not all at once to ensure there isn’t a huge surplus that they can’t move like with crap siege or craps collide.

We’ll obviously be getting more product, especially when TPCI decides to release new Tag Team tins featuring the artworks we didn’t receive in English yet.

I want to believe.

I also want to believe in English Shiny GX.
