Ultra Pro premium binder

Binders with rings in them are more likely to damage your cards.

Personally I use:

The Ultra Pro “Pro-Binders” are honestly top of the line. If Patrick Bateman from American Psycho were to store his business cards, he would use a “Pro-binder”.

How can they damage the cards ?

Mine are stored vertically and I think the cards can not be damaged.

The ring itself is the issue, it’s not going to damage your cards just buy being near them but just from the act of turning the pages I think can cause damage to your cards.

I personally like monster binders a lot better than ultra pro

What is the price difference between the two? I know people who go with the Monster binders but always heard they were a bit pricey.

Monster 9 pockets are around $25 USD Ultra-Pro 9 Pockets are around $16-$20.
I personally like the front & back of the binder and I feel like the 9 page pockets are a lot more durable in the monster binders. The spines are weaker in comparison though

That is what I have heard as well! For storing cards by sets, these binders are hands down the absolute best option.

I’ve asked before, but has anyone here had a great experience with any 4 pocket binders?

The only 4 card binder I used was this when I was a kid in the 90s. I don’t really know what I would use a 4-card binder for these days.

I use these as well and over the course of 3 years they kept many cards in the same condition they were put in. Many if which later got psa 9s and many psa 10s.

I’m referring to good quality binders which exist. Just want to know if other people use 4 pocket binders as the 9 pocket get full and thick very quickly and I am worried they are not the best option for the cards. I am using the ones by Ultra Pro, but would like to know if anyone else knows of any other quality options?

That is fine you are not using too many binders.

I can personally attest to the quality of the Ultra-Pro “Pro-Binders” seeing as my entire collection is stored in them; got plenty of pictures in my collection thread/photobucket if you want to take a look. :stuck_out_tongue: If you’re on a budget, the regular Ultra-Pro binders should work just as well; the only difference is that they have a plastic cover instead of a leatherette one. Ultra-Pro also happens to have Pokemon licensed products if that’s your cup of tea.

My binders:

I’ve heard that the Monster binders are better suited for Yu-Gi-Oh cards as the pockets tend to be smaller. Also, the inside pockets of the Monster binders are apparently very close to the binding, which ends up being an issue when you fill up the binder as the cards on the inside start bending. Still better than 3-ring binders though.

Another alternative that I’ve heard great things about is the Legion Dragonhide Binder; it’s the same concept with 9 pocket pages, awesome textured covers, and an elastic band to hold it together.

For a final option, I’d consider the DeckTutor Four binders which can hold 12 cards per page with 4x3 sheets instead of the regular 3x3. Heard lots of good things about this one mostly from Magic the Gathering players who like the fact that they can display playsets of cards in one row. It’d work fine for Pokemon as well as the cards are the same size.

There’s a lot of videos reviews on Youtube on all these binders that are super in depth and would tell you everything you need to know about each choice, so I’d recommend taking a look at them before you make your decision. Hope this helps!

How is it not fine? I’m using them and they are fine…

oops meant to say

That is fine if you are not using too many binders.

Sorry mate I don’t follow. Can you explain please?

Looks like those binders has 10 pages and cost $10.35 shipped, so 10 binder collection costs $103.50. My point is then 50 binders then cost $517.50
