Trophy Kangaskhan Sold Listing

I’m working on trying to find the true value of the Trophy Kangaskhan PSA 4 currently on eBay right now.

There’s a sold listing for 10k or best offer for an authentic graded copy. Does anyone know what that one sold at? I messaged the seller but have yet to receive a response.

3.5k

I guarantee you the actual sale price was for A LOT more than that (:

Are you sure about that.

Yes. I am the seller. The buyer is a member here and will share the actual price if willing. We made a private deal off eBay.

So you made a deal off eBay but the listing still shows that a 3.5k offer was accepted and completed? That doesn’t really make sense to me.

It’s entirely up to you and the buyer. Don’t feel obligated whatsoever. It’s your deal you guys should do what you want!

I’ve personally sold items on eBay for a lower B.O. and then they supplemented more cash on pickup.

Is that a way to ensure both buyer protection and increase profit for the seller/avoid taxes? I’m not questioning the seller’s story or anything, I’ve just legitimately never heard of this being done before.

I’ve done it/heard of it on either side in the past multiple times. One time personally as a buyer it spawned from an eBay selling limit thing on their end. Another time as a seller it was per the buyers request to get to their price point they wanted which was easier to do with the perks of cash. I’ve also used it and heard of it used in partial trade scenarios.

Split payment is pretty common. Some people have limits, or the buyer/seller agree on installments.
