Buyer straight up binned it. Says he will be paying by Wednesday. Trying to get him to go with a PWCC Vault account so I can just do a vault transfer and he can save the sales tax. Will keep you all updated.

It’s not that surprising someone hit Buy It Now at $25k (despite you having a Best Offer option) for the following reasons:
1 - The last Raichu sold for $20k a couple of weeks ago
2 - There is currently a PSA 9 Raichu on PWCC sitting at $6.8k
3 - Many people (including myself) hit Buy It Now rather than making a Best Offer that is very close to the full asking price because that can lead to situations in which sellers decide to raise the price rather than accept the offer.

Guy I know had a 10 hitmonchan and it had a stain where the jab was. He had turned down offers for 28.5k he had recently traded his for a thick stamp one. He gets the card in about a week or so. From what he says, the new one is a clean 10. If I don’t get anything I want out of this next pwcc auction, I will buy his hitmonchan. There’s 54 copies of it and I actually don’t know the last time one sold. He’ll probably ask 35k for it, which is fine

Same, I just hate the back and forth over eBay when it comes to “Best Offer”. Maybe you save $1-2K, or lose the whole transaction.
