Hello. First time on the forums, but big Pokémon fan since I was little.
I don’t know if this is the correct place to post this, but what are the best Toploaders to protect Pokémon cards? And where can I buy them for a cheap price?

If you search ebay you can find a wide selection of toploaders. I typically stick with Ultra Pro. They are a well known brand. You can find any amount you need on ebay and it is typically the cheapest price available.
Thanks for the information.
One more question; I see you have your best cards in a case better than a toploader on ebay. Are those empty cases for sale anywhere or you get them when you PSA grade the cards?
You have to send them in to PSA and they put them in that case. When you see a card in a PSA case it has been officially graded and authenticated.
Thank you.
Oh nice. I was planning on doing that. What about taping the top closed – too much?
Tape sucks! It’s disgusting, don’t ruin your top loader!
Ye-eah, don’t tape em. >> I hate people who do that too.
I put my top loaders in binder pages and put staples right along the edges. It keeps the cards from sliding out of the top loaders and they look pretty sweet in my binder. No icky tape needed!
I use tape (laughs nervously, bracing herself for ridicule). I only do this because it is incredibly dry and dusty where I live. I need to tape the entire edge of the toploader, otherwise particles of questionable origin attach themselves to the card.
In the beginning, I remember analyzing my cards after approximately three months and noticed how much debris had accumulated inside the toploaders and sleeves. I had to replace every single one, much to my chagrin. I observed that taping the edge provides a longer lasting shelter for my cards. I believe this method works best in my type of situation; I would not recommend it unless it is necessary. (Caution: If you live in a high temperature region with high humidity, this method will actually ruin your cards).
I could use magnetic snap cases – unfortunately, I do not have enough money to afford them for every single card.
You could then just put your cards in a sleeve then in another upside down. Then in a top loader upside down also. This will prevent any dust to get in.
I use team bags. The top loader gets placed in one then the team bag folds over and sticks to itself. No tape, no tricks and no turning anything upside down It cost a few dollars for a pack of 100.
@frostyfluxy – Double layering cards affects my photography, due to the extra layer of plastic. I like to use the least amount of interference possible, because it produces a higher quality photograph. However, I like to manipulate the position of the card without having to be concerned about accidental damage. Thus, I have to compromise by balancing quality with protection. A single penny sleeve with a sealed toploader works perfectly in my situation.
I have discovered that exposed cards in magnetic snap case halves produce the best quality photographs – at least, for me. Unfortunately, cards have slipped out upon the slightest movement – hence, compromise.
@mkpokecc – Strangely, I do not like team bags. They easily catch light and negatively affect my photographs. I experimented with this once. My Shining Gyarados arrived equipped with a team bag. Alas, it proved to be extremely uncooperative regardless of light source and/or angle.
@charchar – I say: do whatever works best for you
@unique: I know what you mean. I love the protection cases give but they don’t give an acurate representation of color. I usually just take photos and scans before I put them in any sort of protection.
It’s ok Tara, I use tape on top loaders when I am shipping a card. Also, I could never put a card in an upside down sleeve into a top loader. It might be a bit OCD but I think it is just a personal preference.
Very interesting. I am going for the reversed penny sleeve inside the toploader
