Hey guys!
I was wondering how do you display your ungraded cards (if you got any to display). I really like how you can display a PSA card but as I’m not sure yet if I should get some of my cards graded I tried to get as near to that as possible. My first attempt was to put the card into a sleeve into a toploader into a teambag. Like that picture below.
I quite like how it looks but I noticed that these teambags collect dust like crazy and aren’t that easy to wipe off. Because of that i put them all in a box and rarely look at them.
As I bought a binder (the pikachu pro one) a few day ago for a complete set I’m wondering if I should get my “single” cards into that binder as well. I think a complete set would look better in a binder but some nice cards like goldstars could look very nice together, too.
How would you guys display them?
Also which storage method does provide more protection? Is a toploader safer than the pickachu pro binder?
I think there’s a couple of ways you can go about storing them, and it really depends on how you want to enjoy them.
For larger sets I like to keep mine in pro binders. The premium cards here are not usually mint for me, they’re there just to complete the collection. For special, or higher value singles, I keep them in top loaders. I would like to put these into binders, but I also like to display these too and I don’t want to damage them from sliding them in and out of the binders too much.
I would try this ^ displayed on top of an Ultra Pro card stand. You’d get something like this. Sorry the case is so scary looking. I’ve had it forever and it’s been through a lot…
If you are on a budget and you got some legos flying around u can make a mini stand! It can hold a toploader upright! It is bit ghetto but gets the job done and takes only a minute to build!
Perfect fits then inside a magnetic one touch. Believe it or not the toploader perfect fit sleeves also fits the 35 pt one touch to keep the cases extra clean.
