What are are people’s opinions of them? They hardly get mentioned here even when people ask about binders.I know they are heavy and bigger but that is all I know.I have never had one and thinking about buying one called gemloader binder, its quite expensive that why I am asking here.
Seems like it wouldn’t be durable when flipping through the pages with heavy toploaders. A good regular binder and using sleeves should be enough protection for your cards
I have one. It’s great, what you see is what you get. Not really much else to say
I was in the same position as you a few years a go, i ended up making my own back in 2019 with a cheap binder + 3 x 4-inch pocket pages i found on amazon that are perfect fits for toploaders.
I do not use it anymore though to be honest, A toploader binder is a bit overkill imo. I much prefer a regular binder for the extra clarity and ease.
I caved and brought one. Not only do I have a habit of buying and trying different sleeves in the past, it also seems I do the same with binders. Only 4 pages filled but I am impressed. I like how the cards are spaced out in the binder. Its not heavy but then again only 4 pages filled.I am careful with it, keeping the pages straight as turn the pages instead of flapping it around fast like I see on YouTube. I see it not just on toploader binders but all binders. I am impressed, I find it great too.
I used to have 2, 1 for Base set and 1 for Team Rocket. It was definitely nice but I ended up moving them to regular binders a few months after.
