I realize that as of this writing, Christmas is still more than a month away.

But I’ve been getting into the holiday mood a bit early this season, and wanted to share this postcard with you.

These were distributed as a consolation prize for a lottery that was held in Japanese convenience stores and gift shops during the late 1990s. I love the simple, flat design. I’m guessing it took a bored office worker armed with a floppy disk full of Pokemon clip art a solid 10 minutes to design. :rofl:
