Absolutely loved it. Would not change a thing. I was cautious going into it but really enjoyed it. They put a lot of work into the animation style. Looks like they could create really nice figurines too!
I’ll probably watch it at some point, but I’m already disappointed that they didn’t include Amber. I was upset when the English release didn’t showcase the original beginning either.
I really enjoyed the visuals
very beautiful and eye appealing.
There is a little clip after the credits too of all the clones flying to Mount Quena from the movie Mewtwo Returns.
Thought it would make it to #1 on Netflix. Maybe a Hidden Fates movie will be the next in the CGI series.
I honestly can say this… I was VERY disappointed at the movie.
I will say this. I thought the cinematics and such were done terrifically. And the movie was made very well. Like it looked at parts like it was 4k quality… but overall I’ll say this… I was not pleased with the movie as a whole… I thought it very dry and very lengthy; especially in points where I don’t feel it needed to be as lengthy… It really was a waste of time IMO… I had higher hopes I guess for it to be more like the original movie. I was very disappointed with the part where Mewtwo actually breaks out of his DNA chamber, and also the part where Ash, Misty, & Brock all travel out to the Island & then when they arrive there, just the whole Team Rocket interference… and the way they’re introduced and such. It all seemed very rushed, and the other parts, like the Charizard battle seemed very played out for no apparent reason.
I mean Blastoise, and Venusaur literally got one hit KO’d and it was like… really?
Finally got round to watching it and the only thing I have to say is…
I still absolutely hate that trainer with the gyarados
We watched it
They said it was a remake so I wasn’t expecting anything new
