Error titles are the only way to shift bgs 8s.

Explain please.

It’s a joke. Below 9 bgs aren’t very desirable so pwcc using a tactic to sell it.

Ah. They are to me depending on what it is. Sometimes you can’t be too picky with certain cards.

It’s because their titles are automated from the grading label.

Do you not have consignments at the moment? I see your button has been gone for a bit.

Yes I do them typically once a month. I have a batch that should go up Thursday and will update the smpratte consignment thread when it goes live!

Gotcha, thanks!

For everyone who wondered what happened to me, the TLDR is that I resigned from PWCC a couple of months ago, took some well needed time off to spend with my family, and now am with Goldin. If any of you have any questions, feel free to DM me here or on Instagram, or come see me at a show  . I’ll be at the National in Chicago next week if anyone wants to say hi in-person. It was a pleasure dealing with (most of) you for my two and a half years with PWCC, and I wish all of you the best.

SEO baby

It’s still SEO. For search queries for which this result would be shown, it’s now bumped to the top.

Maybe I’m just being picky here but search engine optimization would imply PWCC could optimize the website to beat eBays search results, but in this case they can’t since it’s just an ad so it will always be on top, similar to promoted ads on eBay.

Are those the highest prices for those cards?

It’s SEO because without it eBay wouldn’t have been a result candidate for that specific search query. There are thousands of sponsored pages, but it’s that one which was selected.

Sponsored is the same as ad, eBay just paid more for the ad than PWCC, it has nothing to do with SEO, you could setup an ad for your website targeting the same audience as PWCC and it will show up on top as long as you pay more than the rest.

The part about paying for ‘the same audience as pwcc’ as you call it is an element of SEO. There’s a reason that it’s eBay showing there rather than a sponsored ad from Walmart or Toysrus. Sure, the sponsored part adds a layer on top of traditional SEO but it’s SEO nonetheless. You can go as far to say that paying for a sponsored ad is itself also SEO since it’s optimizing their results in a search engine. As a source, part of my job touches on the ML of search engines similar to Google’s.

Yes I believe these are record breaking for public sales on each card. A few private sales from a couple of years ago seen prices between $9,000 and $12,500. Which I believe were records at that time also.

For transparency, the Spiky-Eared Pichu Televi-Kun was unpaid and is now currently back at auction.

Whether the ad is considered SEO or not is more semantics than anything. The point is this ad was tailored and paid for specifically to appear on a search for PWCC. I actually mindlessly clicked on it too thinking it was PWCC since it’s kind of designed to look like that

I don’t know who is proof reading at PWCC, but the fact that this wasn’t flash inserted and still has a 1st edition label baffles me. I know this doesn’t bother some people, but it’s an easy fix.
