The PWCC Megathread

What was the card? I’d be curious to know.

It’s the 2004 Topp Advanced Generation Blastoise vs Pikachu

Nothing crazy value wise, but it’s pretty uncommon

Wow that’s pretty niche.

I could only find these two auctions with a quick search. Looks like it ended at a fair price, potentially below market?

Yea, I was last competing bid on both of those. I honestly would’ve bid higher on the recent BGS 8.5 if I didn’t feel like the bids were suspicious

What site is that

@anubis I forgot to add Ublock to my current computer. I just did and applied the filter, so far so good. Thank you for that!

Hey guys, I’ve had my PWCC vault request held for “Clearance Delay - Import.” It says detailed broker information is required. I’ve never had this happen before and I’m not really sure what to do, there isn’t any specific area or prompt for me to input information they’re requesting. It says shipper or importer must provide information, so will PWCC provide it? Any tips? Thanks

EDIT: it’s just arrived in my province and is being held at a FedEX facility, sorry didn’t mention that

Quick update a couple days later:

After chatting with PWCC, I got an email explaining why unpaid items on their weekly auction that are unpaid get re-listed on the next weekly auction, and another explanation about how they ensure that the items auctioned reflect true markt value, e.g. fake bids etc.

Well interesting, but this was a fixed price sale and the “true market value” of auctions on their own site was more than double what my card sold for the second time.

I got back to them again and hope for a solution for this case still.

Had a card from Sunday’s auction ship within two days this week, so hopefully things are catching up there for everybody.

I had a card shipped within three days. Things are seeming much quicker!

I didn’t know this existed somehow. Now I must find one.

I made a boo boo during my PWCC vault submission. I won an auction on eBay and shipped it directly to my vault address. It has since been delivered to my vault address. However, I never created a submission form. I will contact customer service on Monday. Anyone else made this mistake?

Dont think the forms have ever been mandatory

Customer service can resolve it pretty quickly. I’ve forgotten to complete a form before.

wait … you have to fill out a form ? I’ve just been sending every purchase over for the past few years

It supposedly helps to expedite the process on their end, but it is far from necessary.

I have done it a lot. They will enter it in, as long as your submission had your name on the address. Since you have a unique shipping address they can still add it to your vault.

As said in other posts, form is not required as long as you sent to your name and vault number properly. Don’t even bother emailing CS, you’ll be good
