Is there a way to tell if PWCC listings have been paid for? Their research section where you can see sold listings is so incomplete.

Anything in the sold history page is paid for, anything not there could either be in a batch that hasn’t uploaded yet, still awaiting payment, or a sale that was not paid for.

@petiparty

Do you know if it is possible to save a credit card on file? It is a bit of a pain to enter the information each time to purchase an item, to ship items, etc.

Also, does PWCC have any intention of integrating with PayPal like eBay?

Thanks so much!

PWCC is listing a fake stamp 1st edition charizard PSA 8 on it’s page. Just look at this.

https://www.pwccmarketplace.com/items/3498307/1999-pokemon-base-set-shadowless-1st-edition-holo-charizard-4-psa-8-nm-mt

@petiparty take that listing down. Look at the position of the stamp.

Pallettown_Pokemon is also advertising this on his IG page.

Edit: I messaged Pallettown and he took the listing down. Just waiting on PWCC now. I also emailed PSA and I encourage everyone else to do the same. The more email they get, the more likely PSA will deactivate the certificate number.

I know a few people have asked about the storing credit card thing, and I’m unsure if it’s a dev thing that will be addressed down the line, or if it’s a finance thing where they don’t want to store financial information.

PWCC will likely not accept PayPal ever again due to an issue from before we went independent of ebay.

This is being addressed today.

How does something like this get past PSA? They’re not perfect and every once in a while one could slip through I suppose.

Mistakes happen - humans are fallible.

The cert is from ~June 2016, so someone has been thinking that it is legitimate for (at least) 6 years. That breaks my heart. :broken_heart: :frowning:

I did it guys. Reached out to PSA and had them remove the certificate #. Now just waiting on PWCC to take down the listing.

Nice job! They should give you a one free grading voucher for helping!

Just curious, will PSA offer some compensation to the owner of the slab? It would really suck if someone bought this slab thinking it were real and then have it deactivated

I recently bought a PSA slab of a carddass card, posted about it in the recent purchases thread, and was told the card inside the slab is a fake. The slab itself was a low grade and wasn’t very pricey at all, so not a big deal. But in this case, someone might’ve paid a good chunk of money for this zard slab not knowing it was a fake

It falls under PSA’s Authenticity & Grade Guarantee:

Upon presentation to PSA by the current owner of a PSA authenticated and graded card (“Card”), if PSA concludes that the Card was erroneously awarded the PSA grade assigned or fails PSA’s authenticity standards, and provided that the Card had an active certification number on the cert lookup feature of the PSA website at the time it was purchased by the person submitting the Guarantee request, then PSA in its sole discretion will either:

  1. Subject to the Maximum Amount, buy the card outright from the current owner at the current market value if the card can no longer receive a numerical grade under PSA’s standards, or
  2. Subject to the Maximum Amount, refund the difference in value between the original PSA grade and the current PSA grade if the grade is lowered or deemed to be authentic only. In this case, the card will also be returned to the customer along with the refund for the difference in value.

The keywords here are:

or fails PSA’s authenticity standards, and provided that the Card had an active certification number on the cert lookup feature of the PSA website at the time it was purchased by the person submitting the Guarantee request

In other words, the person who listed it on PWCC would be compensated. But anyone who purchases it now that the cert is deactivated may not be compensated.
