These Japanese promos, love the art and the way they look. One day I’ll get them haha.

The shade of green on the dark dugtrio holo + the artwork makes it one of the nicest looking cards. Very underrated for a card that is majority holofoil

EX/ Lv X/ BW series

The Dark Hypno holo art imho

but unironically tho

I have a growlithe and I’m wanting to get the arcanine. Those cards are heckin awesome!

Lv X has to be underappreciated as heck… Silver borders hard to grade. Relatively low popularity point in the genre so probably lower print runs. PSA 10s under $150 USD regularly.

Realistically, who wants level x cards tho???

I feel like the English version Call of Legends cards are really undervalued.
For example that Shiny Rayquaza is a real beauty and psa9 just costs you about $70-$80.
Is there any reason why they are still this affordable in English? I mean they are shiny legends, who doesn’t like that?

Japanese delta holos. The cards are so clean and the artwork is phenomenal all around. Most of them can be had for really low prices, highest would maybe be $50. From trying to grade them myself I can say they are not easy to find in gem mint condition. This is more underappreciated than undervalued imo, I don’t really see any reason why they should be higher, the value to card quality for me is disproportionate.

If we wanted to do a market analysis of sealed product prices + pop reports + print numbers that would get us a much better idea of undervalued. For pure undervalued I’d say PSA 7-9 1st ed. Base, many PSA 10 ex cards, and most of the older Charizards (non 1st ed base).

Out of curiosity, why is Dumbledore from Harry Potter in the picture here? Wouldn’t Gandalf from Lord of the Rings make more sense, since he said in the first movie:

Greetz,
Quuador

Undervalued cards are definitely from the old ex era (not new EX).
That was when Pokemon was at it’s lowest and pretty sure print run was low.
And the holo cards from those sets are dirt cheap right now.
But one person’s trash is another another’s treasure, maybe the artwork just isn’t as attractive as the other sets.

Hahaha you are right, I couldn’t remember which movie it was from tbh

I completely agree with @cheaterbug, when i see raw or graded holo’s/ex cards from this era in decent shape i usually pick them up, love the artwork and how they look in general!

Although I don’t really think they are undervalues but more underappreciated…

For the longest time I felt spanish HGSS booster boxes and japanese WOTC packs were stupid cheap compared to english and it made no sense. I was paying $40 CAN for HGSS booster boxes and $12-$22 for japanese WOTC packs. They have all since gone up though.

Here are some others that still haven’t gone up (yet).

Mewtwo and Lugia GB promos are super cool.
Victory medals with pikachu on them are dirt cheap trophy card alternatives.
Worlds pikachu cards sealed or loose are really nice.
Basically any new japanese exclusive promo
Japanese southern island mew and english to a lesser extent.
Japanese Mcdonalds E reader 6 card Promo set. Squirtle, charmander, and pikachu look amazing.

Modern chase cards, mainly the supreme alternate tag team GX arts actually but it’s more in wishful thinking since we all know what’s going on and that’s fine with me.

On the other side of the coin perhaps still, Masaki?
