Like 4/5 certs? I was just curious on when it was graded. It’s my charizard that I have and was just curious. I know we’re in like 7/8 right now I think?

If this helps…I have an order from October 2018 and the certs are 42x and one from December 2020 which is 52x. Everything in between I used ludkins so don’t remember those exactly. The most recent certs I’ve seen are 88x but we might already be at 9x who knows lol

I know nobody grades with SGC but their TATs have become terrible since the PSA acquisition announcement. Tin foil hat on, PSA bought them just to kill the turnaround and get more people to go to collectors club and PSA bulk :joy:

Still pretty new at grading and wanted to ask if this was common for early wotc holos in a 9? Thinking about possibly getting this card. A few scratches on the holo

Yeah a PSA 9 is usually flawed in some way and a PSA 10 can be and often is as well

As others often say, buy the card not the grade. If you’re unhappy with its appearance don’t get it

Personally I wouldn’t buy a 9 with multiple holo scratches

Has this happened to anyone, PSA revealed me the grades, however there isn’t some scans of the slabs. Any thoughts?

When buying a high graded card online. What is the best way to see if the card has any surface issues? I know it’s tough to see any on a scan.

If you’re still talking about the PWCC card, you won’t be able to tell. If it’s PSA and they messed up, you’re covered under the Grade Guarantee.

At some point, you have to trust the grade that the company gave it and wait until you see it in person.

No it’s another card. I’m shopping for a shadowless charizard in a psa 9 so I’m looking at different copies. I’m just being too critical I think. Just want to make sure I’m happy with the copy I buy

If it has a new cert number, check the scans that PSA provides. They often show print lines and scratches well on WOTC holos.

What’s the general consensus on how PSA has changed over time? A submission I sent a while back (all Japanese and a lot of stuff I personally pulled and sent) came back as 7-9s with a bare minimum coming back as 10s. In the 2xxx era I was sending out hundreds a month and majority would be 10s, and if not I’d usually be able to call it correctly. I feel like a RNG was used on my last submission :smiling_face_with_tear:.

Is there a shared consensus (or official) regarding PSA’s scale changing at all?
