Another theory could be, their are grading the 18$ special in the new facility. I don’t think they move the backlog cards in the new facility, it’s too dangerous, insurance etc.
All new submissions are being sent to California though. So unless PSA is collecting them in California, then re-shipping them to New Jersey (which I find highly unlikely), they are all still being graded in California.

my fedex ground order got delayed in ohio bro. im gonna be checking tracking every hour until they get to psa lol. happy to hear the special orders are coming back pretty fast tho!

maybe this is a stupid question, but does PSA / CGC grade sleeves? I know they are pretty inexpensive and they are ment to protect cards, so their actual use it’s to be destroyed (?) but as I want to have a Psyduck full set at any point and there are some sleeves featuring him… well, im just curious. Maybe I can just use one of that non-reputable or newest companies to have them in a slab…, here the grade it’s not really that important.

Thank you! That makes sense its a shame rest of the card is clean. The person I bought it from had it raw in a toploader i think thats how this damaged happened.

my panic is resuming… what should I do if my cards are still delayed in ohio come monday? it was supposed to deliver wednesday, then friday, then it got moved to monday. if it delays again im thinking i’ll call or something… any advice? thanks!!

I would take a deep breath. It is unlikely that FedEX completely lost your item. The more likely scenario is that they are doing a bad job at updating their tracking and/or actual events have caused delays (e.g., worker shortage, natural disasters like the flooding in Kentucky, etc.).
I would call/check-in one week after the original delivery date. Until then, grab a non-caffeinated beverage and put on some soothing music. Everything is going to be OK!

i appreciate your response, thanks! i am not super worried about it being lost per se, im more starting to get worried it wont get to psa in time. you only really have a month before they say the order isnt valid anymore and it’s already been like half a month for me to ship and then it getting stuck in transit for a week+. so i dont feel i have a lot of time if something goes wrong. which is kinda frustrating because i paid for faster shipping. i just fear that by the time my cards arrive, psa will be like “sorry the time window expired, we are sending them back”

I see BGS added a “tracker” for anything submitted August 1st or later. No use to me since mine arrived July 25th.
Anyone know what it looks like? How does it compare?
